Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because I have the Polar cooler with the blanket purchased a few years ago from Amazon after my knee replacement surgery started leaking. And it’s the only cooler blanket I could find and it was warned that it is the only one that would fit this cooler. I was glad to see that a reinforcement was placed at the weakest point on the blanket at the hose connection to the blanket. This is where my blanket tore.

A great enhancement for my Polar Cooling System. This allows full encirclement of my surgically repaired knee and provides good cooling. The velcro straps are easy to use and provide good contact and coverage

I am 6’4” and 230lb and got this because their knee adapter was way too small to do anything. Their smaller knee pad would either fit 1/2 the circumference of my leg, below or above the knee, but not both.This large rectangular pad fits about 3/4 of the way around my leg, and I can cover both above and below my knee if I needed to.

I will note that this is LARGE and I put socks in the front toe area to help...that said it works well and did go up my ankle tall enough to help with a high ankle/low achilles strain...would be nice to have a smaller foot with a higher ankle/calf area.

It's pretty heavy, and they've reinforced the spot where the hose attaches. I'm using it for my knee, and it does wrap, but I have to be careful not to pinch off the water flow.

My husband had a knee replacement and since using the shoulder ice pack after my shoulder replacement, I thought the the knee Polar Active pack for knees would help with his knee pain. My shoulder Polar Active Ice pack worked well. The knee Polar ice pack did very little to ease his pain. I would suggest getting the universal Polar Active pack for knee surgeries. I missed the window for sending it back. The Polar active ice machine works well and is easy to use for the right application. For my shoulder we would freeze 12 bottles. Use 6 bottles and when ice melted in bottles we would exchange it for the other frozen bottles. Then refreeze the exchanged bottles. The machine, with the bottles, kept the pack cold for up to 8 hours.
