I read in other reviews that the two cables were hard to separate. I had no problems separating the coax from the power cable without damaging the coax cable insulation, I just took my time. The quality is very good and seems to be working well on my CCTV system. I also had issues with my DVR suddenly turning off or it would stop recording. I attributed this to the power cables being running over too long a distance so I purchased a power box from Evertech to power the cameras. Once I did this my DVR problems were eliminated and it's working fine. I purchased the coax connectors locally at a big box store and it was nice to be able to cut my cables to whatever length I wanted instead of being limited to 60 or 100 feet. One more thing comes to mind. I previously purchased cheaper cables not knowing any better and had ghosting images during night operation. This coax must be of better quality because I no longer have any ghosting so don't put your family's safety at risk by buying cheap cables. Thank you for your time and God Bless...

Its good enough to get the job done without spending unreal money on something that probably isnt much better quality. Just like everything else these products are basically generic and sold under different names and the prices seem to be based on whatever name you buy. I really cannot see any major difference from this cable to any of the other cables ive used in the past.

Bought two 300' spools of this to make long runs to cameras. Found the cable to be high quality, both the 12 volt lines and coax which had good shielding. Used this to replace another brand bought previously through Amazon that deteriorated in a sealed outdoor junction box.

Used for 4K video camera outdoors. Tested at full 500 foot length and it worked perfectly. Easy to run just turn the spool sideways in the box and it will feed out easily and cleanly when you pull it. Try the Southwire brand fish tape for getting through holes, walls, etc., it’s my favorite. Note: the coax cable is a bit thin so when using compression tools you must hold the cable still or it will back out giving you a bad connection.
