Sharp, Great Blade, But Heavy
These are excellent loppers. They have a great cutting edge. The metal is oiled and of good quality, holds a sharp edge for a long time. There are no problems exerting force to cut thick branches, the loppers are heavy duty. When you extend the loppers it is much more difficult to exert much force and, consequently, much more difficult to cut thick branches which are located beyond the "un-extended" reach of these loppers. The loppers are also very heavy and tiring when you are cutting high branches over your head. For this reason, I purchased these loppers and a 10 foot pole pruner. If I could do it again, I would just buy a cheaper priced set of loppers which do not extend and the 10 foot pole pruner. The "extendable" lopper is really of little value since it is difficult to exert much force when it is being held overhead with the loppers in the "extended" position. Just get the cheaper priced "non-extendable" loppers and use the money you save to apply to the cost of a 10 foot pole pruner. This combination is unbeatable and a better use of your money.

Perfect tool for a hard job like 2 inch branches!
I love the quality and sturdiness of this branch cutter! It says it’ll cut up to 2 inch branches & it can! Such a great value. Ultimate compliment—I wish I’d purchased this tool years ago…!

Works Well But Full Reach Difficult
The handles have to be spread very wide in order to properly engage a branch significantlky reducing actual reach. Other than that it works fairly well.

Very sturdy
Have an old pair of Corona loppers but they are the anvil style. These cut so much easier especially on larger size branches. The extended reach is great for branches that are too high for my old ones and keeps me from having to get tree pruner out. Great tools that it's nice to know that if you need a replacement part they are available unlike the....Fis....orange ones.

Very nice cutter
The extendable handle works well - easier to retract the handle when working with thinner branches. But good cutting power with handles at full extension.

Good clean cuts!
Used to chop some big conifer shoots and handled the job well. A little weighty but reassuringly for decent jobs.Cuts were clean however a couple 'dragged, suggesting the clean cutting might not last. This was its first outing so will keep a close eye on this.Overall, very impressed for the price and delivered promptly!

When they call this "heavy duty" the emphasis is on "heavy"
These are very nice sturdy loppers that cut like a hot knife through lemon cheesecake but be warned that they are actually pretty freakin heavy. If you are a circus strongman or Navy SEAL you won't mind holding these over your head all day long but the rest of us mortals are going to have problems.I can't give them a low rating because the weight is right there in the product description, but these aren't going to be a good fit for everyone.

Great cutters. Extendable arms are great and these can cut really thick branches.Recommend
