This was not my first purchase of a Tusco planter; I really like the quality, weight, look and style of these planters, so I have purchased about six, in different sizes. Highly recommend!

I love this planter! We recently moved into this home and realized we had a dangerous step. This planter absolutely solves the problem and looks beautiful! I did drill a hole in the bottom because we get a lot of rain here. It’s very sturdy and well made. We may buy a second one!!

I really wanted to like these planters and saucers. The planter was lightweight and complemented my front porch very nicely in the Espresso color. However, both the saucer and the planter became stained/discolored from excess water that would sit in the saucer after watering. I have attached photos so you can see for yourselves. As I was out of the Amazon 30 day return period by about a month, I contacted the manufacturer Tusco to see if they would stand behind their 10 year warranty. They refused. A representative told me that it was my water that was causing the problem and not a defect in the product's material. This is the same water I drink everyday from the tap without any issues and the same water I water all my other plants with and those plastic planters are not stained/discolored in any way.I paid a significant premium for what I thought was a quality product with a 10 year warranty. That was the primary reason I bought the planters and the saucers. I was not even asking Tusco to replace the planters (which also have become stained). I was simply requesting they replace the saucers so the staining is not so obvious on the outside edges. I would think from a customer service standpoint that this would be the right thing to do.I am not one to complain online or even write reviews, but I feel that it is my duty to warn others that Tusco does not stand behind their products and it could stain from regular tap water. At a cost of $80 for the planter and another $25 for a saucer - buy at your own risk!I have attached photos so you can judge for yourselves. I attempted to scrub them clean them, but the surface is smooth and the staining could not be lightened at all.

I purchased 2 of these planters for my front porch. They look really nice on each side of my front door and give the front of my house a very modern, contemporary look. I planted boxwood shrubs in each and cut them into a round shape. I already received comments from 2 of my neighbors on how nice they look. They are not as chocolate brown as I had hoped.. more of a bronze, however still a nice texture and color. As with other reviews, I did notice that the planters bow out a bit once filled. This is most likely because I placed a small paving stone in the bottom of each for balance. Because of their height I used empty plastic bottles to fill up to the mid way point before adding dirt & plantings. I also purchased the 18 inch planter that I had hoped to put in front of one of the 26 inch planters - but because the 26 inch planter is only 13 inches wide.. when I placed the 18 inch shorter planter against it I felt the scale of the 2 together did not work and I am returning the shorter one.

I almost returned due to the sides being a lil wavy. I decided to test one out (I bought four). Looks great dont notice the slight defect....if you can really call it a defect. Good value for the $'s.Helpful tip, I bought bronze square shallow plastic/resin planter filled them with flowers and they fit perfect. Take them out to water, keeps my deck clear of water drainage and staining and the planter easy to move.

This is heavy duty plastic. I thought it would be easy to add some holes at the bottom for drainage but, this material is strong. Bring on the drill. I painted mine with textured jade color spray paint which fades to the brown color. Looks great. I purchased 3 of them to add along the walkway inside my garden which has a lot of shade. I added some ferns and now the area looks great!

Plastic. No drainage holes at the bottom. It will do but cheap.
