I find nothing to dislike about this product.I especially like the resealable package which helps maintain freshness.I gave this to my neighbor's cats for their second birthday and they love it!I sprinkled it all over their scratcher and it kept them busy for hours!Throughout the week they enjoyed regular playtime with it.There are no adverse effects.

This was the second cat nip I have boughten, thinking my cat would at least sniff it then go bonkers....Boy was I wrong. My cat hates cat nip. The neighbor cat loved it.

Just ok. The price was great but there’s too much product which I think goes stale? Not sure. I’ve bought cheaper, smaller batches from other brands which Mr. Fang likes better. It works but too weak. Fang prefers stronger. Would not buy again.

I thought I'd try the Kitty City listed as "Premium" cat nip based on their product description and our goal to support American small businesses and that we've been cat lovers & rescuers for 40 years so we want the best for them. When it arrived in a Manila window envelope vs a solid, sealed container this sent up a yellow flag of concern. Upon opening the envelope I was instantly overwhelmed by a musty/mold smell, so I emptied it into a glass jar. That's when I found shredded moldy leaves that proved my suspicion, the cat nip grass was shipped damp, molded and then was shredded and repackaged. This cat nip grass came from 🇨🇳 China and this DETAIL wasn't listed in sportpet.com's description or I never would have bought it. Why??? China doesn't conduct or require, or mandate, their growers to perform ANY safety or TESTING (mold) measures whatsoever! This is critical to your pet/ cats safety and health! DANGER/WARNING!!! Mold is TOXIC to cats as it is to people and can cause irreparable damage from; diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, bacterial colon and kidney infections, twitching, difficulty breathing, spasms, and seizures in all cats that come into contact with moldy anything, especially when eating...cat nip. BE SAFE

This went out of stock and I tried several brands and my cat ignored them all. I couldn’t blame her, even I could tell the other brands weren’t as fresh because they were almost odorless and dull brown. Several other brands weee so finely shredded that there wasn’t anything left to crush between my fingers to help release more catnip odor.My new order arrived today and I ordered the tin can this time… that was a mistake. It’s very difficult to open and I resorted to using a butter knife to pry the lid off. Unfortunately that dislodged catnip all over the place. Didn’t take her nose long to alert her from two rooms away that her catnip was back in stock.2 Tips:1. Pour the catnip into an empty Parmesan cheese plastic canister for easy sprinkle or pinching servings. Gently crush between fingers to release more odor.2. Knit (or ask someone who does) a double layer potholder and stuff a plastic shopping bag between the layers. Then place the catnip on top. After cat consumes catnip you can shake out the rest over the trash. Helps keeps your floors cleaner. Some cats will use as a catnip toy. It can also be washed when needed.My cat lays on the “catnip pillow” and meows when she wants catnip (which made her manic as a kitten but makes her relaxed and sleepy as an adult). Often there’s enough scent still there that she will just lay on it and chill out. I leave it accessible at all times so she can do that even when I’m not around. It’s been a great system for us.
