It’s just so stinkin cuteWe bought this for our two orphaned kittens who needed somewhere warm and cozy to hide away during their naptime. I went into it knowing that they would only be able to use the mushroom house for a short time, and would quickly outgrow it, but that was fine with me for the price I paid. Our two kittens comfortably used the shroom together when they were 3-5 weeks old, then a single kitten could comfortably curl up in it while she was 5-8 weeks old. They just turned 3 months and can sort of fit inside now, but mostly use it to duck inside for a few seconds to pop out and ambush their sibling during play time. So if you have very young kittens who are smaller than about 3 pounds, they can fit in this house!We had problems with the mushroom tipping over at the slightest breeze. It is very light, which makes it easy to carry and move around, but also easy for kittens to knock over during playtime. I put a ceramic salad plate in the bottom underneath the cushion to weigh it down. The cushion is fluffy enough that the kittens didn’t feel the plate underneath, so this worked really well! If you don’t put something on the bottom expect the house to slide around, tip over, etc.The cleaning instructions say to spot clean only. But when one of our kittens had a “poo-splosion” incident, we found that that didn’t really cut it. I tossed it in the washing machine figuring - hey, it was only $20, if it gets ruined, oh well. It did NOT get ruined and was actually fine through both the washer and the dryer (gentle cycle)! I wouldn’t go tossing it in the machine for a wash every other day or anything, but it should hold up through one or two washes.Overall, I’m very pleased. I wasn’t expecting a super high quality product that would last 20 years, so if that’s what you’re wanting, look elsewhere. But if you’re okay spending $20 on a bed that’ll be ridiculously cute for a precious short time, this one’s a winner!

I got this hide for my hedgehog back in April and he loved it. He would sleep in it all the time. Unfortunately, I had to throw it away due to a bad accident he had that I wasn't going to throw it in the washer. In the short time I had it, it was super easy to clean and open.

This is an adorable bed and my boys seem to absolutely love it. It cracks me up every time they climb inside and get comfy because the shroom moves like it's alive! I did make a couple modifications - the top doesn't really hold it's shape well so I used the pad from another bed (that they didn't like) and shoved it in the top of the mushroom cap. Now it seems to keep it's round shape on top. I also covered the white pillow inside with a cheap fleece blanket (also from Amazon), so I can wash it easy (plus who wants white fleece that shows guinea poop and pee? No thanks). It is a bit top-heavy so I tied a small rope around the mushroom cap and secured it to the cage. Otherwise it does tip easy. Despite these flaws it is super adorable and my boys love it. Thinking of getting one in another color.

Awesome colors and great quality perfect size

Pros:- I have a fairly large syrian hamster. She fits in here with plenty of space (4-5 times her size) unlike shown in the product image.- Really cute! Looks just as pictured- Generally sturdy build (I believe it's mostly fleece or some sort of similar fabric)- The inside of the frog has a removable plush base/pillow which has a zipperCons- I'm still learning to be a better hamster owner so these should only be used during playtime and under supervision as they can get tangled in the chewed up fabric- My hamster has had a blast chewing all the seams as well as part of the pillow/base case...thankfully it doesn't seem like she tried using the cotton filling for her nest. I will probably replace the filling with something hamster safe- Not a huge fan of the pupils being glued on (felt fabric? and not sure if the glue is safe for a chewer)Overall, would recommend for other small animals that don't need to burrow, like smaller guinea pigs, as it could be extremely dangerous

Cute mushroom hidey. Perfect for my skinnypig with plenty of strech room. Top zips on & has a removable cushion for easy washing. Read reviews that it’s flimsy but definitely not the case on the one I received. Super cute

Does not look like the picture at all. It doesn’t stand up straight. It is not a mushroom shape. It’s pooly made

This is a perfect size for tiny kittens. Currently being used by a 4 week old and has room for a friend. I imagine it will be retired when they reach 3-4lbs, but it is adorable in their space and perfect for giving them a tiny den to feel safe in.
