Be aware that this is a VERY SMALL trash can. I read the reviews and understood it was going to be small before I purchased. All I needed was a small trash can so for my needs, it was perfect. If you're looking for a big trash can for trash though, look for something bigger.I had no issues with the lid - and it worked perfectly as needed.

This can met expectations. No complaints. The lid stays on so tight, it takes effort to remove it.I did not need that kind of grip, so I cut the plastic locking piece off of one side of the lid for easier access. The lid still stays locked tight on the opposite side, and it stays on outside in the elements, but now I can open one side quick and easy. Good can, well built.

Sturdy, heavy duty container. The lid fit is exceptionally tight, it's never going to blow off.Purchased this to make a chicken feeder with. After receiving it, decided it was too nice to put holes in the side. This is one, well, like the title of the review says, cute can. Could see manufacturing these in smaller sizes, automatic opening lids, and so on. Of course, everyone must realize by now I do not live in a Manhattan apartment, but this container works perfectly in a workshop or garage.

I keep it in the chicken coop for cleaning and it's very rigid plastic, strong, and lid seals tightly, but is vented. It's a bit expensive, but it does work well for me. 13 gallon trash bags fit it nicely.

This is a nice sized, very durable container. I've fashioned it into a pre-filter for a rainwater catchment system by opening entry and exit holes in the top and bottom. The only thing I disliked about it was the extremely, tightly secured lid. It was nearly impossible to remove and I had to do a little creative filing on the retaining tabs. Other than that, top notch!

I bought 2 of these. They are perfect to store my chicken feed, scratch and dried larvae for my Serama chickens. Seals tight and each one will hold a 50lb bag of feed, scratch or larvae. Makes it easier to take care of all my chicken foods. Sure they will be a great trash can too. Would recommend.

Lid is too hard to undo when it’s locked.
