Uniden BATG-0481001 Antenna (AT218) for the Majority of Handheld Scanners - 800MHz

Product arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. Works very well with my Radio Shack Pro 97 scanner.

I like the antenna it fit perfectly on my scanner.

The media could not be loaded.  I needed a replacement antenna for my bearcat BC D436 HP scanner, So I can replace my old antenna. It was falling apart. This works excellent for my scanner. I do live in an area That I don’t have great reception. Well, the antenna does a fantastic job. I also take my scanner to work and listen to it so I live in the state of Massachusetts approximately 40 to 50 minutes away from Boston and I can pick up Boston Logan airport very good with this antenna. I do get a lot of good frequencies on it. it’s a great replacement antenna, so I highly would recommend this antenna to anyone that wants to purchase it. I also would purchase it again if I need another replacement antenna because this is dynamite.

This product was an original replacement for my twelve-year-old RadioShack handheld scanner. My original one recently cracked and broke due to the silicone rubber drying out, I presume. Though it still worked, as I was able to repair it with electrical tape, I wanted to replace it. This looks exactly like the original rubber ducky antenna. The BNC connector attached right to the antenna jack. Would be a good replacement for Dre as well as Uniden handhelds.

The antenna looked just like the original but didn't cover the frequency range of my old antique scanner which hadn't been used for years. Nothing wrong with the new antenna. I still haven't found the correct one for my old scanner.
