Age of Empires 3: Definitive – Windows 10 [Digital Code]

A game that is based on strategy not graphics got remastered and wont play on my computer running Windows 10. I wasted $20 and would love to be able to get the original 2005 version of the game that would actually run on my computer since the graphics don't matter. I wish there was a system requirement warning, but it's more like a scam.

This purchase gives you the ability to download through the Microsoft Store. After I downloaded the game through the microsoft store I attempted to open it. The game would not open - it hangs indefinitely on the splash screen.If you look on the microsoft store you will see many others complaining about this not working. It sounds like the Steam version works better.

I cannot get it to work.

First off, what a total pain in the butt! I get the code and have to download the game which didn't even download! Tried multiple times. Changes my laptop/PC permissions eyc. Contacted Microsoft services and they kept transferring me to different departments that "could help me better..." Thoroughly disappointed! There is a reason why Amazon won't refund you for this product.. it's garbage. Save your money and look elsewhere. I am a total fan of Age of Empires too. 😟

This game would occasionally lock up, but now it won't even start.

Shame on Amazon, Microsoft, Xbox and anyone stupid enough to spend money on this. It requires that you register an account with Microsoft etc. etc. etc. Royal PITA. And in the end? It doesn't work! I have to agree with the other reviewers... it's a scam. Again... shame on Amazon for not refunding!!!

Not as fun as I once thought.
