Freestyle Ballistic Diver Olive Unisex Watch 10019173

I think this watch is better than advertised - perhaps because I don't have the ability to imagine what it will actually look like when staring at photos online... The watch is large - 46mm case is PERFECT! I have long, skinny-ish arms so most mens watches look like a ladies watch on my wrist - and I really don't like that. This watch is not heavy for its size. The strap is very comfortable and the nylon NATO-style strap and it dries quickly. The luminescent markers are nice and they last all night long. They're not blazing - as when you go into a darkened room or garage after being in the light - but they're sufficient that even my poor night-vision can see the time. Last thing - although its a quartz movement, I have to hold my ear close to the watch to hear it ticking. I've had other quartz watches where the ticking can be heard across the room with the watch under a pile of laundry - this watch is quiet and accurate and lightweight yet still feels solid enough for daily use.Why even wear a watch? Everyone, it seems, has a phone with the time and alarms and such. Well, I'm an old skater and I skate during my lunch hour (or pretty much whenever I can) and I won't skate with my phone in my pocket so I need a watch to keep track of time (can't really say I missed my teleconference because I was at a "board meeting," now can I?).UPDATE: I've read that I'm not supposed to wear my watches in the shower because the soap can damage the water-resistant capacity of the watch. Whatever... I wear it in the shower pretty much every day and it's been fine. I like that the strap dries quickly - I had one NATO style strap that would stay moist for hours and was most uncomfortable.I skate with the watch and although it's no light-weight, the size and weight aren't noticeable. The watch hasn't taken any direct hits (i.e., I haven't slammed onto the watch) and I don't expect it to be indestructible - but I am confident in the watch's quality to skate while wearing it and so far so good.On another note, although I like the original strap well enough, I changed the strap for a "vintage Bond" NATO-style strap that is 300mm long. The strap is more appropriate than the one that came with this watch (just fits better - strap is longer and tucks in properly - it just looks right), however I kept the original strap too, just in case. I really like that I can change the strap out and modify the appearance of the watch.

Watch is very solid and legible. Band is kind of rough on you skin and there is no date feature.

Very nice watch, but the band is a bit uncomfortable. I've already taken it fishing and it held up great after a day in salt water.

It's what I wanted no date water proof and not some cheap watch frame and bezel it's good looking sturdy and basic very pleased with this watch

It does not look like the photo! I was so exited to get it....but once I got it y was so disappointed! The belt is bigger and so is the watch its self... It does not look unisex at all!! It was suppose to be a gift, I will not be giving it...

It's a great watch. It's more like a men's watch but I bought it anyway because it was labeled "unisex." But it was way too big and heavy for my wrist.

Very nice for the price

I like this watch. It's simplicity and function are perfect. The NATO band is adequate. I replaced it with a Seiko type black resin dive band. Freestyle should have used a resin band as original specification. The black face model 10019173 gives the best contrast for easy reading and the lume works fine (not as nice as a Seiko $$$). Definately purchase again.
