Vello Shutterboss Version II Timer Remote Switch for Nikon with DC2 Connection

Easy to use, couldn't ask for better.

I have this set up to use as an intervalometer for taking many photos to stitch together to make a time-lapse from my Nikon d3200, and it works like a champ! THe batteries are outlasting the camera battery by far!

Works so well on both my Nikon D5000 and D7000 I had to get a battery grip so I wouldn't run low on my time lapse shots

This thing is a tank. I mean that. I was in Glacier National park taking pictures of some waterfalls and rivers when I dropped this thing in the water. It was fully submerged for a few seconds. Still works like a gem. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a remote release. Only downside is that some of the controls are a pain to set up.

I use this with a Nikon D5600 to automate long exposure astrophotography sequences. Very easy to use. It makes a huge difference to minimize camera shake. It also makes it more enjoyable to not have to be involved with every single exposure when your talking about sometimes acquiring hundreds of sub-exposures to stack into a single image. It is very useful for all types of photography. The lighted screen feature on the Vello Shutterboss II is a huge bonus for night photography.

This is an absolutely great shutter remote device. It feels substantial in your hand because it has comfortable weight to it. I have its cousin the ShutterBoss wireless and it's nothing like it... This shutter release remote never leaves my D750 once my camera is set on tripod. The screen is extremely legible. I like all of the resource videos that are available for this device.

I bought this to provide remote capabilities for a Nikon D3200. It works quite well. It is easy to use and appears to be pretty sturdily built (haven't dropped it yet!).

After spending sometime searching, I came to a conclusion that this was the best option for what I needed. I use this in a long time timelapse project. In my next project, I'll just order another piece with confidence.

Best product for off camera controls. Absolute must product for long exposure photography. A must for Landscape and Astrophotography. Works equally good for normal on location photography. Combined with camera's live view enables the photographer to connect with the subject/model directly without the camera in between. Very very easy to use. Plastic quality could have been better, especially the battery cover part.Recommended for all serious photographers..
