Comfortable and stays in place
Got hurt at work and when I wore this to physical therapy the therapist said it was a great brace. It’s helping with my recovery. Holds my knee in place so that it doesn’t move where it’s not supposed to. I recommend to my friends. Comfortable and feels nice in the skin

High functionality…poor quality control. Skip it and keep on looking.
I really wanted to like this brace. The one I have is completely worn out. It doesn’t do much unloading anymore, but it still firms up my knee which in itself still reduces the pain and discomfort. But it needs to be replaced. I thought I had finally found one, until it arrived and I tried to put it on. The fourth (lowest) strap wouldn’t connect or stay in place. The Velcro had completely separated from the strap, making the brace totally useless. While the brace itself seemed to be of a very high quality, that same quality didn’t extend to the straps, especially the hook sections of the Velcro. It was very thin and wispy, without having very much grip to the loop section. Really disappointing, as I very much needed to use this new brace. I’ve had knee problems for years, which has been aspirated by being severely bow legged as well. I’ve had enough surgery for three or more lifetimes, so I’d rather just keep my knee braced, as it’s proven to be a very successful method to eliminate any pain.

So far so good - highly effective
I've only had it for a week, so I can't comment on the durability or longevity of this product, but after wearing it daily for that week, I'd have to say this is an excellent product that does what it's supposed to do.As background, I have some mild osteoarthritis in both knees and related to this, I tore the inner meniscus on my left knee. If you've experienced this, you know how painful it can be and also how frustrating it is to go from walking, hiking and even running to plotting your trips around the house to minimize the pain.My Doctor told me it will eventually heal and it is, but to do that, requires rest, frequent icing, pain meds and such. I was also using a tradional knee brace that helped but not the way this one does. The "offload" part is what does the magic and after one week of daily wear, my knee feels significantly better despite being on my feet each day. I even took the dog for a walk the other day which was a great accomplishment at this point.A few tips. After having some skin discomfort, I put an Ace style compression bandage underneath and it feels much better. You also have to carefully manage the straps and velcro to avoid chafing. And positioning the "Puck" that compresses the opposite side of your knee is critical. It's a little bulky but wearable under dress pants or loose jeans. Easy to wear with shorts and the black straps and plastic look better than white imo. I can't see this being too small for anyone, the straps are very long, but I could see it being too big for someone who is very small in stature. So a great product that does what it's supposed to do and hopefully one that will hold up until it's no longer needed.

Could have been BETTER
My husband has had this brace for under a year and he wore it 3-4 days a week to go work out and if we went walking or shopping. Today, he went to work out and while on the treadmill, he said he heard a pop and started hearing a clicking sound. The hinge snapped! This is not made with machined metal; this is diecast metal in the hinge. It has no structural integrity. The times he did wear his knee brace, if he brushed his leg against something, it would pop open the buckles holding the brace onto his leg, so he would have to stop and re-buckle. He said overall, the brace was ok, just not up to snuff.

It's looks bionic, but it works
This is uncomfortable at first, but as time went on, it worked. I don't need it 24/7. I do need it more in the winter it seems. Would not have a problem getting one for the other knee.

It's a great brace!
I have osteoarthritis and kept going to Summit Ortho for bracing. They kept giving me crappy braces and then dropping off the face of the earth after charging me a lot of money. I have a child with CP so I am no slouch in the brace department and I decided to try my hand at finding a brace.Pros: This brace is affordable. It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to wear it. The videos are very self-explanatory and helpful at showing what to do. The brace itself is comfortable and comes with all the tools needed for home adjustment. They also offer to do virtual fitting if you need help.Cons: If you have not braced yourself before or aren't familiar with the exact right way to do things, you may end up hurting yourself or making the problem worse. I always recommend having someone double-check your work whether you do a virtual visit with the company or go to your doctor.Overall, I am really pleased with the product and happy with the results I am getting.

Great stability
Really helps to hold the knee and add lateral stability. Unloader works too well, dont crank the screw too far! I think the instructions need to more in-depth. DO add the metal shims to REDUCE the range of motion so you can't hyperextend the knee joint. THe shims slip in/out with one screw and hold very well. Once it's dialed in it really becomes part of your leg. Only negative found: it needs to be against your skin to stay in place and not slip down. Putting this over a knee sleeve lets it slip too much. The release clip buttons can be popped open when you lean against car doors or tight pants.

The adhesive is weird. Not great quality.
The clips are attached by Velcro which has adhesive. The adhesive stop sticking after a week. I've had to re-glue the clips multiple different times. I would like to say this is a one time instance but this is my second one of these braces as the first one snapped almost Entirely in half within the first 30 days. It's doing what it needs to do but overall I wish I had gone with a Different brand.
