Super versatile, great for travel!
This pack is great! It packs down pretty small and is super lightweight for traveling and impromptu day trips. I keep it in my car for impromptu hikes or beach adventures, and I always bring it along when I travel-- It's nice to have a sturdy daypack available without having to unpack everything from the backpack/bag that all my clothes and such are in. I wandered around a large city with someone for a day and this pack held all of our goods: a 32oz water bottle, an umbrella, a small purse, a hoodie, and five full-sized bottles of wine that we purchased (for a party) at the end of the day. It handled the weight like a champion, and I didn't have any worries about the seams bursting or the straps ripping. It's also great for carrying on planes, and can fit a larger purse, two beverage containers, an ipad/thinner laptop, books, a big external battery, a scarf, etc. The outer pockets (especially the top one) are great for knickknacks that you don't necessarily want to go digging through the backpack for.Because of it's light weight, this backpack doesn't have a ton of padding. While you could very easily fit a pretty good sized laptop in it, I probably wouldn't because of the lack of padding (and the generally haphazard way that I personally handle my backpacks). All in all, a great, versatile backpack! A definite must-have for traveling!

Roomy backpack that compresses neatly for travel
I've been quite happy with this backpack after two trips with it. It can be folded down into the front pouch for easy storage, I put mine in my suitcase so I have a day-pack available for excursions. While collapsed into the travel pouch I've even used it as a make-shift toiletry bag (because something exploded in my regular toiletry kit), so that's kind of a bonus. As far as using the backpack, it's quite roomy: I had 2 beach towels, clothes for 3 of us, sunscreen, hats, etc with no problems. The straps are fairly comfortable and didn't bother me in a couple of hours of walking around fully loaded. The only things I could possibly be disappointed in are that it doesn't seem to be super waterproof and I worry that it might get ripped easily if it gets snagged on something particularly sharp. I'm very happy with it for the price I paid and will take the risks on my stuff getting a bit wet.

Very handy!!
Bought this to keep in my luggage on my recent vacation in Costa Rica. I was surprised at how well made it was for the price. Fit nicely in my luggage without taking up much space and was great for a light use day pack on our hikes and carrying supplies for the beach. It made a handy extra carry on for our souvenirs on our return trip. It's unstructured so I wouldn't try to pack a lot of heavy gear or unprotected electronics, but plenty of room for beach towels or a sweatshirt or jacket and a water bottle when hiking. Very useful and the green color was very nice and not so bright that my boyfriend minded carrying it!

Decent for the price, but doesn't last
At the time of writing this review, I have owned the daypack about 10 months. At this point, I feel like I have enough usage of the bag to write a proper review. I purchased this pack after a trip to Croatia where my regular backpack was simply too heavy/thick/impractical for immense amount of summer urban hiking we did. However, I have not owned any other daypacks, so have no basis for comparison with other similar products, and write this review as my personal experience/insights.Usage:1. Daily Gym bag - Yes. I've been using this as my daily gym bag, instead of only using it when I travel. I imagine avid outdoorsy people might use it more often, but I am not one of those people. It's not heavy usage - it just holds my gym clothes, and a small toiletry bag. I did not use it to hold shoes.2. Occasional hiking bag - a few bottles of water, snacks, maybe a small outerlayer3. Daypack while traveling - whatever needed carryingPros1. Extremely lightweight - it weighs next to nothing, which is perfect for a daypack.2. Perfect size - small enough to not be cumbersome, with ample space for most daypacking activities3. Cheap!Cons1. It's already starting to fall apart - stitching is starting to come loose. The waterproofing layer is also coming apart in a manner that is similar to rubber cement2. It's not really waterproof - I carry a loofah for the gym showers. I keep it in one of the outside pockets. The inside of the bag consistently gets wet from the loofah.3. Zippers are problematic - they often get stuck in the liner material4. Front pouch should be dual zippers - one zipper is awkward for the front pouch which has an 'n' shape to it. Makes it that much easier for things to fall out when you have to open almost the entire pocket every time.Overall, I think I'll get perhaps 1 more year of use from this product if I do not care about the poor waterproofing aspects.

Good quality but not ultra light
Great quality and very comfortable. Great price. Some way a bit of water got in, perhaps through the zipper. This is small and packable but not ultra-lightweight. Check weight statistics if that is a major factor.

Great for day hikes
Used this for hiking the Bright Angel trail at the Grand Canyon in April. We only made it a little over 3 miles down before we headed back up, but this backpack was great. It was so easy to pack for travelling and then it holds a decent amount of stuff, is lightweight, very comfortable, has a chest strap. I loved this thing. Very durable too!
