I’ve been into pools since 1999, so I know a thing or two—and I have to say, this Bestway Steel Pro MAX 12' x 30" Above Ground Pool is a solid 10/10. The setup was super easy. With two people, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and everything went together smoothly with clear instructions.The size is perfect for families or just cooling off on hot days, and the frame feels sturdy and well-made. The depth is just right at around 26.5 inches of water—great for kids and adults alike.Now, the one thing to note: the pump that comes with it isn’t strong enough. If you're just dipping your toes into pool ownership, it might do for the short term, but I definitely recommend upgrading to a more powerful pump for better water circulation and filtration. As someone who’s been around pools for decades, I can confidently say a stronger pump will make a world of difference in keeping the water clean and clear.Overall, awesome pool for the price, easy setup, and a summer must-have—just plan to invest in a better pump!

The pool is amazing the quality is great the setup is easy, the filter however sucks. If you plan on using the pool a lot I recommend stepping up to a bigger pump filter setup. It will cost as much as the pool but you will have a much better time with your poolMake sure you put it on very level ground or till and level it yourself, the liner is extremely durable but buy a high quality pool mat to put under it. You will thank me.

I love this swimming pool. I have RLS, and kicking around in the water really helps. Plus, I've always loved swimming but will never be able to afford an inground pool. So I bought this pool for me. I'm 59 years old and it took me less than an hour to set it up. It's a nice way to cool down in the Florida heat. I like that the frame is made up of a very durable plastic. My old pool had a metal frame and it rusted after 2 years. The plastic frame will last much longer. I know that many people will buy this pool for their kids, but I gotta say, it's the perfect size for adults too. In fact, I'm the only one using it. The water is deep enough to kick around in it, and it's super relaxing just floating around on an air mattress. It's big enough, but not too big, so it's easy to keep clean. My one issue is the pump. After just one day, we noticed that it's leaking.The pool is great, but the pump is not. At any rate, the pool is worth the money. I love it.

Cover in photo is not included. This thing is easy to set up and is large enough for several kids. The brackets are plastic and likely won't hold up for more than 1 or 2 seasons and the pump isnt good enough to really circulate and clean the water. But it keeps the kids occupied and happy and it's big enough the wife and I will get in it too

Perfect for us. We use it everyday and it has fit 7 kids playing comfortably. Great quality. Super easy and quick to assemble. Great price

This pool is the best purchase I've made this summer! We've only had it for a few days, so I will update on longevity over time, but so far...it's stood up to some intense kids playing, and it's been a godsend for me given that it's hitting 100 degrees out & our A/C decided to die.Now! Onto what you need to purchase alongside this pool to make it amazing.First, the pump that comes with this pool is inadequate. I very quickly purchased the "Bestway Flowclear 1,000 Gallons Per Hour 120 Volt Above Ground Swimming Pool Water Filter Pump Cartridge with Automatic Shut Off Timer" pump to replace the one that comes with this pool. This larger pump fits the same exact hoses at the pump that comes with this pool, so switching the pump was very simple. It's a much better pump, and I got lucky and got it for a very good deal!Second, you're going to want a pad for under the pool. I got a 12-foot round pool liner pad so that it would be larger than the pool, and I think that was a good choice.Third, you'll obviously want a skimmer net, but I also bought a Sepetrel 2023 Upgraded Swimming Pool Spa Jet Vacuum Cleaner with Brush & 56" Pole. This is basically a manual pool vacuum that hooks up to your garden hose. I like it because I basically end up topping off the pool water while vacuuming the pool.Fourth, chlorine. I've ordered 1 inch tablets to go in a floater, but I started with granules because tablets were just not in stock. I actually quite like the granules - not sure if I'll stick w/ tablets or granules or both. It's probably good to have both in case the tablets just aren't enough for heavy-use days.Last but not least, you'll want some pool tester strips. I'm using the JNW 7-Way Pool Test Strips, and I really like them. They've helped me maintain the chlorine levels. i've needed to add more granules every day - especially after the kids use the pool.Oh wait - also, I got a cover...but I'm not using that yet. Still, I'm sure I'll be glad to have it in time.That's all I've got! I researched pools to death before purchasing this one, and I'm happy with my purchase! I'll likely drain the pool at the end of the season and set it back up again next year assuming it survives the children lol. RIP my water bill though. Probably. (It took about 4 hours to fill)

This is a great pool. Definitely big enough for four adults! Mostly though we have two adults and my grandson in it. I have had some issues with the pool pump, I'm not sure if it's an electrical problem or what is wrong with it. The pump won't move any water. I read the review and saw that other people had pump issues also. So I'm buying a new pump. 3 stars because of the pump. The pool itself is 5 stars.

Delivered to the front door was great. Putting it together was fairly easy. The lining isn't that durable, before we got it filled a bug ate through the liner. After we patched the hole the kids did have fun. But another bug chewed through it somewhere we couldn't find the hole so the water just kept leaking. When it was all put together it did look just like the picture. The outside railings were very durable. If the liner was more durable it would have been a lot of fun!
