Rafter Layout with the Framing Square for School and Home Workshop

I didn't find the info to be inaccurate. It does have standard & metric examples. But, this book is more geared towards a highschool shop class. If you're completely new to a framing square, then this book will open your eyes to the beginning of learning this tool. If you've laid your framing square down for a very long time before picking it back up to work with, then this book will start bringing it all back to you. This book is incredibly short. A newbie can probably run through it and be proficient in a short time. There are examples & questions to be answered at the end of every section. Much like a school kids book. I'm not knocking the book. But, it would be more accurately described as a pamplet (rather than a book) that should accompany framing squares when they are initially purchased.

I bought this book for my son, he was able to cut the rafters for small building.

This book was just what I needed. I want to frame a hip roof for a gazebo in my yard, and needed some detailed instruction on the basics for the rafters. This book provided that and more. Well worth it for beginners and intermediates who want to roof something.
