Great in portability, but not so much in outlet power
This is a great charging adapter if you are looking to find a travel size adapter for your devices. I personally use two usb-c cables that I use for my MacBook Pro and iPhone/iPad, and a usb cable for my wifi box and a Bluetooth headset on a regular base, so this adapter gives me the right number of output ports for not only when I travel but for my daily needs. You should be aware that if you already have a regular charging adapter for MacBook Pro series, this adapter will not necessarily make the charging experience faster since this adapter’s maximum output power is 45W. If you have MacBook Pro models that are newer than 2016, it actually is a downgrade in terms of output power. 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with 61W power adapter, while 15-inch models with 87W and 16-inch models with 96W respectively. If you use more than one port, the output power will be even less, making the charging speed much slower.I personally like this because this helps me charge my devices other than MacBook Pro faster than using regular usb chargers, and it gives me more flexibility than more powerful Apple’s original charger which lets me charge only one device at a time.

Very good performance
I have tested more than six power adapters and most of them had a setup where the power supply would reboot or recalibrate whenever a device was added or removed at USB C and A ports. My peculiar situation was that I wanted to put a powerful adapter right next to my TV where I could charge my laptop, mobile, idevices as well as power the fire TV. This meant that there could not be any interruption at the USB A ports. As I went on to test this charger, I found that the charger recalibrates/ turns the USB C power supply off and on each time a devices added only to USB C ports but there is no impact on the power output from the USB A ports whenever a device is connected or disconnected at any of the outlets of this charger. This meant a steady supply for fire TV and hence no interruptions with the streaming of entertainment. Also, I could use and charge 2 HP laptops at about 40W each, while streaming youtube videos via firetv stick and charging an electronic item on the fourth (USB A) port. This is a powerful charger, does what is said by manufacturer. No buzzing, funny sounds at full capacity. This will not Super fast charge 2.0 (45W) a samsung phone but if you look at the facts, a phone will be close to 40W or so for few minutes, then the power will drop to 20W or so, which can be provided by this charger in non-PPS manner. I wanted stability and good power capacity and am very happy with my purchase.

This fasts charger does charge fast
The Aukey can charge up to 4 devices at a time. For those devices that accept fast charging, they charge in minutes, not hours. This charger will also accept older devices that are not made to fast charge but they will be charged at whatever the device will take. This item is convenient, small and not bulky. It will work with the standard charging cords that come with your device but because the cords are not made for fast charging you probably won't get the main benefit of this charger. We bought the recommended cables that were made for this charger. What a difference a cord makes. My hubby and I share the the Aukey-makes for a great charging station. For Christmas I gave my son one of these along with the cords and he was thrilled and loves how efficiently it works. I would recommend this product highly.

Good idea, great support, but arrived defective
The intent of this item looks fairly good and I have a number of good things to say about it on arrival:- Excellent build quality, very solid and sturdy.- Looks great with a nice subtle but premium design.- 100w charging is great for future-proofing.- 4 ports on this charger is insane for how small it is; it is only a few millimeters larger in each direction than my old Anker PA-Y11, which served me well for a number of years (but was only 30w with 2 ports). One major complaint with the design that seemed like a good idea at the time, but in practice isn't so great, is how the power distribution works. If you plug in just two USB-C devices, they each get only 45w of power (I tested). This might be fine if you are charging two medium-sized devices like tablets or Nintendo Switches, but it is probably far more common to have 1 laptop and then a couple smaller devices like me. In this scenario, even if the second USB-C device only draws 15w, the other USB-C device only gets 45w, which is a bit slow for a laptop. It probably would have been better to either have 1 of the USB-C ports charge higher, _or_ for the "smart power" to be even smarter and support higher than 45w (say, 60w) on one of the ports if less than 45w is being drawn from the other port.I'm not going to alter my rating based on this, but my unit arrived defective with only the USB-C ports working. Both USB-A ports are dead on arrival. That might be a negative, but my experience working with Anker support was a positive, so I think that cancels out both for the purposes of my rating. Anker issued me a full refund, no questions asked. I would've preferred a replacement device but they didn't have any more units stocked and didn't seem to be getting more any time soon.Overall a really good idea, just a few issues in execution I think. If mainly you want to charge many small devices I imagine (a non-defective) one of these will work great for you.

It does not work charging multiple devices
The product looks good - small and compact. Unfortuanately, it does not work when charging mulitiple devices: I tried to charge ipad pro and ipone together. Both devices show sign of charging, but both are not charged at all. This is my second unit - I replaced it thinking my first unit might be defect. I am wrong, it is a design problem. I saw similar review in the review. Ankey, please show me it will work - both USB C ports supprised to provide 45W each, but it is not, at least it does not work for Iphone and Ipad pro.

Unfortunately product quality control very poor.
Found this and was somewhat excited to get a potentially all in one charging block that actually had the watts available to charge three or four items at once. Waiting for it to come off backorder received it, plugged it in and it didn't work. Turns out if I plug it in a wall with enough downward weight it works. plug into a surge protector on a flat surface and it will not work. Clearly there is some kind of faulty electric connection with the prongs. Very very disappointing. Called and they didn’t even want to replace it. To add insult to injury they would only refund and I could re-order at a now higher price. Didn’t re-order.

A versatile and multifunctional charger
While we're in the transition phase between USB A and USB C, I bet that some of your devices, if not most, still rely on USB A. For that reason, it's still prudent to own a charger that has both USB A and USB C ports in order to maximize its usefulness and versatility. AUKEY's Omnia line of chargers offers all sorts of chargers that'll fit your needs. Over time, I will retire this charger in favour of a 2-port or 4-port USB C only charger but for the next 2 years I still have electronic devices that use USB A. Overall, this is a reliable and multi-functional charger capable of charging your laptop, iPhone, wireless headphones, etc. If you're in the market for a USB A + USB C charger, I recommend this product.

Very compact and power in spades
These power delivery charges have sure come a long way. At the same size but less in cost, now it has the ability to power up to four devices not to mention up to a hundred watts of power versus my outgoing one that was a fraction of the wattage and only one port. This effectively replaces a handful of chargers and once we can travel again this will be my go to. While majority of my devices are USB C on both sides now, there are still odds and ends (more than I think) that still use older connection points so this solves that issue now, much better than a tip adapter. The build and feel in hand in solid and comes in smaller than my mac equivalent. Crazy that it can charge my pro in well under two hours, and not much more when I have say my earbuds or something else charged in. I was even able to get a adaptor for my larger 17 HP laptop, and it too can charge that given the wattage allowance while the majority of my other power delivery charges top out at around sixty five watts. Nice understated colourway to boot.

Defective
Have bought tons of Aukey products in the past but this one is definitely a fail. Since day one the unit would charge for a total of 2 minutes before quitting. Tried it with multiple cords and multiple plugs and power bars and the unit would not charge. Returned after a few days of receiving it

The power delivery is disrupted when you unplug or plug new peripherals
If you unplug or plug something into this adapter, all the current connected devices will immediately lose power for a fraction of a second. And I was using it as a power delivery to a USB hub, so that split second killed all my peripherals. My keyboard, external HDDs all went offline. If you don't un/plug in new peripherals while it's running, there are no issues found.
