Looks nice, but difficult to assemble.
Difficult to screw pieces together because they fall down as you do it. Also, the screws have a star shaped head and what comes with them is a small allen wrench. I used a socket wrench with a star shaped bit that, after using a little dry soap on the screws, provided more leverage and made them go in a lot easier. Once together, it is strong enough for all my wife's cookbooks.

A clumsy unfriendly assembly process, but a good useful product
This bookshelf turned out to be quite versatile, even surprisingly so. Assembling it was not fun. The directions were labeled by someone who already knew how to build it but doesn't know how to diagram that process for the average person to understand and follow. It was a challenge to me, but I finally built it and am now very pleased with the end product. I also imagined how I would re-draw the assembly instructions so customers wouldn't have to go through what I went through. The bamboo is handsomely finished and appears quite solid. The overall design is quite unique. It gets only four stars because the directions need an immediate overhaul.

Difficult assembly, not very stable
Assembly instructions involve holding pieces in the air with one hand, driving a screw into the wobbling pieces with the other. The screw holes are poorly machined and difficult to drive into, so things end up loose or off center.

It successfully holds books, so there's that.
Some of the wood pieces have solid/dried droplets of glue on them, and several of the screw holes are drilled juuuuust a bit off-center. I still managed to put it together, but it's not winning any points for looks or quality control.

Nicely made! Made of wood - a little shaky, but becomes sturdier with books put in. The shelf adjusts with the amount of space for books you need. Overall, it fits the requirement it was bought for.

Well worth the price as it blends very well with normal office or home furniture. It is also very easy to use, given that you can move the thing to fit in any space, and thereby books and items accordingly.Highly recommended
