So worth it
I was looking for something with a copper core and this is the only one under $200 I could find. Very sturdy and heavy so don’t expect quick heating but the heat retention is excellent. A pan like this is a great investment as you’ll likely keep it a lifetime

Great pan, but there's an error in the listing description
One complaint about the description, but all good things to say about the pan:The listing gives dimension indicating 11.25" across. It's actually about 2 inches less than that (even measuring generously from the very outer edges). I had wanted the larger diameter (still do for some things), but this size will work for the main recipes I bought it for.Immediately washed it, upon receipt, and tried a couple of recipes that need the thickness and heat retention I bought the pan for.The pan, itself, is great. Excellent quality, it has the thickness I wanted in the sides and especially the bottom. The lid fits very well (good seal) and is solid/thick/well made. The pan works beautifully, even heating, holds heat well, internal curvature is great for stirring/scraping/folding sauces and candies that may normally stick (pan doesn't form a corner like other plans do)... In short, this is a solidly built pan that should work very well for years and years. As for other reviewers complaining about the handles getting hot...umm, I'm not normally snarky, but "c'mon, man"! They are metal handles/knobs which have been riveted/welded directly to steel pans - thermal transfer is real - OF COURSE any such handles will always get hot (even the owners 'manual' it comes with explains they will get hot (in multiple languages.).As a family who has a lot of experience (and has taught various types of cooking) with both good and poor quality cookware/tools, we can attest that this is a good pan. While I'd still like to find a larger version of this pan, I'm may still buy another one in this size, anyway. It is worth the price I paid. If you appreciate the difference between the average mass-produced cheap pans and well-made higher performing cookware, you'll appreciate this pan.

Great quality, superior cookware!!
I waited to leave a review for these pots and pans... so I could thoroughly test them out. Reading all of the previous reviews, I was very skeptical to buy them.... "everything sticks", "food sticks on all the time", etc.... I will say, yes, sometimes food will stick to these pots and pans, however, I have never owned a pot or pan that was easier to clean. I just rinse/ soak the pan for 5 minutes (normally less time than that), and the burned on food simply wipes away. Wonderful!!! My previous pot and pan set, teflon coated aluminum, had some kind of concentric ring pattern inside the pan, and food would always burn and stick on there. It was even more difficult to clean. Also, these pots and pans are perfect for the dishwasher too! My previous pots and pans had hollow handles that weren't completely sealed to the pan, so if not positioned correctly in the dishwasher, it would fill up with dirty dishwater. So annoying, un-sanitary, gross, and frustrating. No such problem with these. Solid handles, no where for water to gather. Perfect. One thing I did notice while trying to boil water in the large stock pot.... it seemed to take forever without the lid on. I think because I was used to the thin aluminum pots and pans, heat transferred more quickly, thus heating the water faster. So, keep that in mind when trying to boil water with these.... use the lid, and give it a little extra time. I would say only one downside of this set is the shape of the pots and pans. They have a tapered shape, so the base is smaller than the rim....which doesn't leave a lot of surface area contact to the burner on the stove. Hindsight, I might have looked for this exact set of pots and pans, only in a straight non-tapered design. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Wonderful set!!

Nice Pan
I bought the 10 piece Analon stainless induction-compatible cookware set, so naturally I chose this one as I needed a 12" skillet and it matches the 10-piece set perfectly. The only oddity is that the sides of all the pans included in the 10-piece will attract a magnet. On this one, a magnet will only stick to the bottom, the sides are not magnetic. The manual for my range says that a magnetic bottom and sides are preferred. I'm not sure if that's indicative of cheaper materials used in this pan or what. It's a fine pan, good amount of heft to it. Seems to cook evenly enough on my induction range, no complaints there. The only qualm I have is that the "rim" / top of the pan is very thin, enough that I can deform it just by putting pressure on it. Feels very cheap in that area. I'm quite confident that if you're careless handling this, smack a cast iron pan into it or something, you'll have a dented pan very easily. This is a characteristic shared with the other pans in my 10 piece set, they're also much too thin at the top. At this price, I think a little extra stiffness in that area isn't asking too much. Otherwise the pan is quite heavy and built well, solid handle. Looks great out of the box, but like any stainless pan, it loses it's luster quickly unless you spend a great deal of time polishing it.I get my jollies reading all the reviews from folks complaining about food sticking and that the finish of their pan is no longer pristine after weeks of using it. Food will stick to any uncoated metal pan, get over it, or change your technique. As for looks-- It's a metal pan for cooking. If you want a showpiece, hang it on your wall and don't use it! Like any uncoated metal pan, when heated it has the potential to discolor, stain and overall lose its brilliance. The copper and stainless dull noticeably after only a couple uses, but I completely expected this. No stars taken away for a cooking pan behaving like a cooking pan and not some fine jewelry.I basically had three criteria for pans -- durable & built well, looks decent, and cooks well with induction. But I needed that at a price that didn't require remortgaging the house. I saw some reviewers complain about the pans (both this and the 10-peice set) being too heavy, that's what made me try these. Heavy = GOOD!This pan hits all the marks pretty well. If the top of the pan were not so thin, this would be the pan to beat. If I had to do it over again, I might pass on this and try to find something a little sturdier at the top. You really do have to be careful stacking these pans, as I imagine it would be easy to damage one if you accidently smacked one into another. That's really the only complaint I have.
