US Weight Barbell Set for home gym workout - Made in USA, Essential Home Gym Equipment for Strength Training

I ordered 3 of these so we could workout as a family. One set was missing 1 5lbs weight and 1 10 lbs weight. I was preparing myself for the hassle of trying to find someone to contact, send back, talk to robots etc. There was a piece of paper in the box that said if you have any problems call. I called and entered the extension for customer service and got someone in 3 seconds. I told them the issue they got it sorted out and my address for the replacement weights and I was off the phone in about 3 minutes!To my shock not only was that a customer service miracle I called on Thursday and the Weights showed up at my house on Saturday! Today is Sunday and we are going to have a family workout!!!I was shocked at the quality for the price. The bar is strong, metal, and has some heft to it (5 lbs). It is screwed together in 2 places but with tons of threading. It'll work great for the plates it comes with. You can sort of fit 4 10s on each side if you had them. I ordered some 2.5#s to come with this so I can make smaller adjustments.I'm a personal trainer and we have tons of stuff at our studio but I wanted some for home with my kids. I don't want to pay any more than is needed. This was the cheapest I could find but better than I've seen. It would be hard to find this weight any cheaper at a garage sale! These will last years and years. Probably longer than I will as long as you aren't dropping or throwing them.Cheap and with killer customer service this is a no brainer if you are looking for a light weight set!

So I've been working out for the past few months with kettlebells and dumbbells. I had a trial at a gym and of course the barbell equipment was the first to be tied up. I bought this to experience a good workout at home and I was not disappointed. This came packaged very well with all pieces inside. It only took a few minutes to set up and no one of the pieces were damaged. The clamp is a little hard for me because I have arthritis in my hands, but I can manage after a few tries. I am impressed with the quality and ease of product. I am excited to incorporate this into my workouts. Im starting out with 35 weight instead of the 55. Hopefully I will work my way up to this soon. Thank you. It is a little wobbly if the clamps arent close enough to the weights, but it is manageable.

If you already have a bench and weights you actually use, this is not the for you. But if you are a beginner and have a bench the bar will fit or if you have a routine that is not weight training focused, this might work for youI purchased this set for days I wasn’t doing yoga to get some weight training in. It’s excellent for compound exercises (deadlift-curl-press, etc) that don’t require a lot of weight but will get you in shape fast! If you can do 45 minutes of dead-curl-press with all of this weight, well, you aren’t reading this because you’re a professional athlete or fighter or something like that. So there’s room to grow. Decent enough set, has held up even though I use it in my concrete Philly “yard,” and, unlike some of these plastic weights, actually weighs correctly.

Reasonable price for being able to work out at home. Bought them because of Covid. Still using them if I don't go to the gym.

I bought these for my teenage son that wanted to get into working out. He loves them and so do I. They have the plastic coat which has prevented any rusting. We've had them a couple years now and the coat hasn't cracked or fell off. Highly recommend for beginners

Does the job for no gym days but could have a longer bar.

Like many, I purchased these weights to do BodyPump at home. I didn't want to spend a fortune and didn't need larger weights than 10 pound plates. This set is absolutely perfect! My bar came in 3 pieces that needed to be screwed onto each other. The bar is covered in a nice anti-slip texture. The clamps that came with it fit the bar and keep the weights on. It came with 4x10pounds and 2x5pounds plates. The bar can hold the weights just fine. I wouldn't put more weight onto it than what comes in the box though. When I do clean/presses the clamps keep the weights in place. All the stuff was clean in the box. Highly recommend it!
