What's not to like
I have rebuilt my entire network around the Omanda series and it has transformed my home network performance and stability. Excellent products at a great price

Works as intended and dead easy to get going
Got this installed for a nice and easy 4 Camera CCTV setup, with the aim of using some higher powered security lights as well, requring the extra wattage on certain ports.Used TP-Link Omada switches for a few years and find them a doddle to get integrated with out the box and no confguration needed. I have this installed in standalone mode and kept it as simple as possible, barely makes a noise. Yes there are cheaper switches out there with a similar feature set, but the integration with Omada down the line and ease of use makes this my choice.

Good Value Switch
Very handy to run Poe Cameras, It's a managed switch, so works well with the TP Link Omada controller.

Used as my core switches - have 2 if these exact model
Moved away from isp supplied stuck and bits used separately all over the house.Streamlined setup to. Fully TP Link Omada kit. So from my optial network termination, (ONT where fibre comes in, would be master socket or modem in older setups), it goes to my ER605 router. From there i daisy chain the 2 switches (i didnt opt for the SFP version. The PoE on 2 ports power an AEP245 access point downstairs and an EAP225 upstair. Also just got a EAP110 outdoor antenna to allow basic internet outsidev in the garden.Having all this under the Omada controller - running the OC200 just makes it easy for me, but more importantly, i am teaching my wife the basics. She has never liked back end control of the tech, but since i have been diagnosed terminal illness due to horrible cancer - she had to learn it quite. Ok she may not be able to create vlans etc yet - but she is happy to 'see'the devices in the software so can visualise where issues are etc.But also picked this system as its pretty much rock solid and low maintenance. Most of the these days eh!

Good, but time-setting flaws
SG2210MP - Whilst this switch is like the other TP-Link JetStream switches a pretty decent product and for my money part of the best low-cost range of network infrastructure products, the internal time-setting function needs some work.If you choose to use an NTP server for updating the device's clock, you have to specify an IP address - you cannot use an address such as pool.ntp.org. This may be fine if you have an NTP server on your local network (although even then it is not ideal as it is not very flexible), but if you are wanting to use a public NTP server it is no good.Furthermore the DST function is not integrated with the time-setting function, which means that you can set it to be on if you fall back to setting the time by synchronising with the attached computer's clock. This time will be correct, so adding an hour for DST while the DST is effective means that you end up with the time being an hour ahead. It should only take effect when you are using an NTP server so this function should be subordinate to the time-setting function.Alternatively if you set the time manually you should make sure that you use the non-DST time for this.Despite the above the switch is a good product although I can't help but worry a bit that if this function is so badly implemented, what does it mean for the rest of the firmware?

Great Network switch
I bought this network switch to power my UniFi6-LR Wi-Fi access points. They are PoE+ so normal PoE switches can not supply enough power for them. It was not straight forward on the TP-Link website if it is PoE or PoE+ but I risk it and ordered this switch. It was a good surprise it is PoE+ Class4 capable and perfectly compatible with my access points. Passive cooling so no fan or any noises. I’m using this switch 2 months ago now and it is perfect. I would not buy any more expensive switches as they are not capable any more than this. I can highly recommend this item.

TP-Link's OMADA SDN hardware is a game changer for Small Business and Home Networking
Netgear is officially dead to me. TP-Link's OMADA SDN hardware provides the remote management access needed to keep a network operating without needing to be on-site. This switch, when coupled with the OMADA Network Controller and OMADA wireless access points provides the insights and control to remotely manage all aspects of the network - including client associations. Performance has been rock-solid. Firmware updates are flawless and regular - unlike Netgear which puts the fear of complete system meltdown into you when you do any firmware updates.Goodbye Netgear, you were great until you weren't. Hello TP-Link OMADA, you are what we have been asking for at price point that is still a value.
