Beware of “seller”, it matters.
Great capsules to store various things in, not just silver bars. I actually use them for other small items. Do know that the “inner dimension” seems to be for the larger half of the capsule, so the effective inner dimension is slightly under 1/8 inch smaller. Don't expect your 1oz assay cards to fit in these if that’s what you’re after.Also, the seller matters. From the one I bought from:- poor packaging. Plastic Amazon bag (no bubbles), no cushion.- capsules came pre-assembled, dusty and smudged and scratched. Came in loose in a plastic bag within the Amazon plastic bag. You want these NOT preassembled (they get looser when you open them). You also want these cushioned between other capsules to prevent scratching during shipping.I know of one seller who packages their capsules very well. They ship their capsules disassembled and cushioned between each piece. Not sure I can endorse sellers in a review, so my advice is READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR THE SELLERS and you will figure it out.

Great for lightweight boat anchor.
Perfect capsule to use as a lightweight boat anchor because none of the 10 oz bars fit into them because the capsules are to small. So remember not to cut out your metal bars from the packaging they come in because they will be to large for the 10 oz capsule. Brilliant, really brilliant, I never would have thought of making them to small for their intended use. Absolutely innovative.

These fit the RCM 10 oz bar perfectly
Very satisfied with the fit for the RCM 10 oz bar. I only purchased 5 just in case they didn't fit. Now that i know that they fit very well i'm going to purchase more. OFG shipped very fast.The packaging was apparently too flimsy, because 1 of the 5 air-tight capsules was cracked on arrival I hope when i order more OFG doesn't use the same packaging method. Value goes down as usable quantities decrease for the same price.
