Good as advertised.
Tricky to get water in the bags without getting the cardboard boxes wet.

Easy to use & sturdy, good quality!
This comes with an extra bag & spout in case it's needed. It's easy to use. I filled mine with spring water so I didn't use the tubing that came with it for tap water, but it was still easy to fill as the mouth is wide - even at 60 yrs old lifting the 5 gal spring water & pouring into the bags! The bags are study & after a few fills I didn't worry about them breaking due to the weight. Don't forget to add the preservative before you cap it!! I guess that's why they include an extra bag! I just bought a second set.

A MUST HAVE IN EVERY HOUSEHOLD!!!!
Good quality mylar bags and boxes. I bought these to replace the expired kit I previously purchased fron LEGACY food storage who dosent carry these anymore. This kit is exactly the same and the 5 year old water tasted fine, was not slimy, and odorless. These kits work and everyone should have one for emergencies!!! Bags are sturdy. Make sure to push the spigot ALL THE WAY IN. Saw another review and that lady didn't assemble her kit correctly and they leaked. These bags do not leak if assembled correctly. ONE thing that bothered me was that they only sent half the bags and spigots. I contacted the seller and they quickly replaced the missing items in 2 days which is why I didn't give them 4 stars. IN A DISASTER, YOU CAN'T LIVE MORE THAN 3 DAYS WITHOUT WATER. ENOUGH SAID!!!!

Made very well!
I was looking for water storage that you could easily bug- out with, or use camping. These are 5 gallons each. However, once you put the spigot on it's a one time thing. You cannot remove and refill the bag.Aside from that, I have no complaints and it comes with the water treatment solution to prevent slime growth for 5 years. If you don't use it by then you'll definitely need to boil the water for safety.Stacked 2x2 10 boxes will occupy a wall space if 4'8" long and 2'6" high. They recommend NOT storing directly on cement. Given the space, and not reusable feature coupled with the price per gallon at $3.50 for the 25 gallons set up I purchased isn't cost effective if you want to store emergency water in bulk. That's the price of convenience.🦋Lily🦋

... the boxes given some of the reviews regarding their poor quality and coming apart
Originally I had just bought this for the bags and didn't plan on using the boxes given some of the reviews regarding their poor quality and coming apart. However, when I got them I just viewed this as moving and putting heavy things in boxes. What do you do with that situation? You put tape on the bottom! Well, that's what I did. I went to the dollar store and bought a roll of duct tape. I placed 3 strips across the bottom where edges meet on the inside. It held just fine. I even transported them carrying a box in each hand. I was somewhat expecting the side to rip given all the weight was distributed to one side, but it didn't. And that was walking about 40 feet. I didn't stack them on top of each other so I can't attest to sturdiness there. I assume it would be fine. Not sure about 3 high as in the pic though. Mabye? :)

Simple!
So far so good. Pretty easy to fill up. I used two 1 cup measuring cups for mixing the chemicals in. I did one right before I started filling and the other 5 min before I started filling. Basically I had a production line going. AlwYs has chemicals mixing with a 5 min timer on. By the time i filled one and got a new box ready it was already 5 min. So on and so on. Make sure you line up the bag correctly. I screwed up on the first one, but really it doesn’t matter if I need to use the water. I’ll get the water out. I think the water will taste fine after the chemicals went in. I guess I’ll find out if there is a disaster.

The boxes are extremely easy to assemble
The boxes are extremely easy to assemble, in fact, the flaps are numbered in order of assembly. The instructions state that you should insert the bag into the box and THEN fill the water bag. This is not at all difficult. If you clearly know that the water is going to be stored and used within the the five year treatment, then this is the way to go for the price. NOTE: The company makes it clear that once the spicots are inserted into the mylar bag fitting, they cannot be removed. This means that you will not be able to change the water after five years if you don't use it. This is a good product for the porpuse and a good price too. Give it some thought.

Avoid
Ok on paper this sounds like a great idea. especially for two little old ladies that live in the desert. We have limited space and stacking boxes sounds better than a giant barrel. With that said. There is someone laughing all the way to the bank. The bags cannot be filled outside of the cardboard boxes, because you can overfill them and then they do not fit in the boxes. But if you fill them in the boxes there is more than a 90% chance you will get water on the boxes. So guess what happens to the boxes if they get even a little wet. Now lets talk about the spigots. SERIOUSLY, they only push in !! Not screw on. so they can pop out too. Even the slightest brush can pop them loose. OH MY GOD..... I have never worked so hard to fill something and have it completely fall apart in my hands. SAVE YOUR MONEY GET A WATER BARREL !!! There is no reason to go through this. Get a little hand pump, when the end of the world comes, you will have your manual hand pump and fresh water in two barrels. And not these pieces of absolute "F- ing"garbage and a waste of your good money.Part 2 10-23-2020 We have had our water containers filled for about 2 months. I have attached pictures. 2 of the units one on the very bottom and one in the middle of our stack. Sprang a leak. The result was 20 cardboard containers completely broken apart. Water every where 10 gallons to be exact. In closing we ordered 20 containers we received 20 bags and 18 boxes. And not enough additive to treat the 18 we had.Feel free to contact me with any questions I would be happy to send pictures.
