Damn, immediately cranked and saved me $350
My wife has a 2002 Suzuki LT-F250 Ozark. I was skeptical with OEM pricing out at $400, but damn was I surprised when it cranked immediately. I tried to fix the original with an aftermarket rebuild kit, but when I couldn't get the float bowl gasket to set correctly (it was like 1mm too short and pulled in), I just gave in to buy a replacement. Usually always buy OEM, but at a $350 price diff ($50 vs $400) I had to give it a try. Easily installed, all the parts there, and fortunately the plastic choke cable screw in cap was in there because mine broke (~20 year old plastic) when I took the old one off. Getting creative to get the broken piece out without damaging the cable took longer than putting the new carb on. After back together, cranked immediately, tightened up the throttle cable to get the play out of it, and dialed in the idle, and voila. Starts now when cold without even using choke and the rev up issue it had is completely gone. Hasn't run this good in a decade.

Carb worked perfectly
Old carb was on its last leg. This carb worked perfectly fired right up and drives with 0 issues. Even came with extra jets. Great price too.

Nice carb
Perfect fit. Externally, looks identical to the factory carb on my 2004 Suzuki LT-250. Very different internals. Comes with 3 idle jets and 3 main jets that are not interchangeable with the factory jets. When possible, I usually use the factory jets to ensure proper fuel/air mixture. Reason for 4 stars is I had to play with different combinations to get the fuel mixture right. The jets that came with the carb are not labeled in any way. Without a jet gauge, it was a little frustrating, but I found the right combination and the bike runs great.

Perfect replacement carb for ozark 250
My 2003 Suzuki LT-F250 is 18 years old. Still starts but often needs some choke, runs ok at speed. The worst annoyances were not idling well and frequently dying when hitting the gas from idle. Rather than attempting a carb overhaul I opted for this replacement. I was extremely pleased with the result. The new carb is virtually identical to the original in every detail. I had no trouble with any of the connections (throttle and choke cables, fuel, primer, vent, drain). Total install time was about 2-3 hours but could have been quicker if I knew the best order for assembly. The carb comes with all the parts necessary. The kit includes two extra sets of main and idle jets. I wasn't sure if they needed to be installed so I pulled the bowl off to check and the new carb also had jets already installed. It appears all three sets are the same but I didn't have pin gages to check accurately. There is one adjustment screw under a rubber cap on the lower left side. I'm not sure what it does but it was set at 3.5 turns open, same as the old carb.Once installed, I set the fuel valve to primer, cranked for about 10 seconds and it started. I made a small tweak to the idle speed with the thumb screw on the bottom. Subsequent restarts (with fuel valve set to on) were immediate with out any choke. The idle is stable and best of all the engine no longer dies when giving it gas like with the old carb. Power seems fine across the range but I haven't pushed it much.Overall this carb is 100% compatible and well worth the the cost and time to install.

Kinda works
Part was packaged good but after reading other reviews I double checked some things. The large plunger wouldn’t rise all the way, opened diaphragm area and reseated then it worked, the main jet wasn’t fully tightened, and the float needle didn’t seal all the way. Luckily I used the one from old carburetor. After that installed and carb seemed to work great. Although sometimes while sitting at idle the speed rises by itself. Still troubleshooting….
