These were bought to replace two that had gotten broken. Both fit just fine in the lamps where the other glass lamp covers had got broken.

This chimney was not cheap. It is top quality in terms of clear, not wavy, well made glass. Durability and sturdiness? I don't know why Amazon even asked about those things as glass chimneys are very fragile. I did not like that there is no country of origin listed on the product packaging. Perhaps it was in the listing and I missed it. I don't know. I'm happy with the product. It works exactly as intended. I've only used it for a few hours so far, but expect it to last until it's dropped.
