I own two Kuyal mats—one I've used for about a year, and a second I purchased recently. Both arrived rolled up but flattened out easily after following the included instructions: unroll and then roll in the opposite direction. To help the edges settle, I placed heavy books overnight, which did the trick.The mats are transparent, allowing the wood flooring beneath to remain visible. On slick floors, the mat may shift slightly; however, the newer version included double-sided tape. I applied it to the top corners, and it has effectively kept the mat in place.The bottom surface of the mat is smooth, while the top has a subtle texture. My office chair glides easily across it, providing a comfortable and functional workspace.Overall, the Kuyal mat is a solid choice for protecting wood floors without sacrificing aesthetics or movement.

As the title states, this thing is excellent.Now, for starters, I got this for a slightly different reason; it's currently acting as a floor protector for my dog's pad. They have TERRIBLE aim, so I laid this in their general business area, which is also behind my desk and where my chair rolls onto. Tight space.First off, flattening this baby was a piece of cake, really only took a day to uncurl with some weights on each corner, didn't need sunlight or warmth or anything.The quality feels great, it's pretty thin. I was worried I would roll onto the edge of it with my chair and feel a notable bump, but that's not the case. My chair has rollerblade wheels, and it rolls nicely on the mat, no issues.It's not too out of place, it has a light texture to it but like, I barely notice it on the floor.For the price? Worth it. There was already an accident on it, and it cleaned up great. If anything, I'm more upset I didn't get this sooner.

The first thing you'll notice upon opening this product is that it's in a roll (which you would expect thanks to shipping), and having it unroll to match your floor is a bit of an issue. After a few days of laying flat (maybe with the help of books) it WILL lay flat on the ground. It looks good, it does a great job of protecting the floor, but it does slide around a lot. It doesn't seem to grip a smooth floor very well. We have the fake wood grain flooring, with texture, and I have to move it back to it's original spot every morning.It does what I needed it to, which was protect the floor because my chair was breaking it, but if your primary concern is it not moving; this isn't your product.

saves my hardwood floor from computer chair scratches so definitely a need if you have hardwood floors. good size and stickiness is reasonable. good mat quality so far. easy of roll is good. not bad softness too. functions how it should.

I just had my hardwood floors refinished and the plastic floor mat I had needed to be replaced in my office. I searched office supply stores but all they had were the kind with spikes on the bottom, which is great for carpet, not so much for hardwood floors. I decided to try this one, I read the reviews about the curling corners so was prepared for that. It came VERY tightly rolled up and was tricky to unroll on my own, but after some gymnast moves I did it. I put some heavy items on each corner overnight and it worked great. Lays very flat now. It is clear so the floors look good underneath. The only issue I'm having is the mat slides around very easily even with my desk chair on the mat, along with me.

Shipping was fast. It came rolled up in a tube. It unrolled easily and I just put a weight on each corner for a day and that completely flattened it out. It is working great and protects the floor, very smooth for chair on top of it. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, so I don't know about the quality long-term but I hope it lasts.

Very thin. Cheap crap from China. But it does work OK and it was a good price. Comes rolled up like a tube but did flatten out nicely on floor. After having it awhile I changed review from two star to four star. I was just expecting something more substantial. Works great on hardwood floor. Not for carpet.
