Bright, Reliable Road Flares That Recharge Easily
I picked up this 3-pack of Ecoangel LED road flares for roadside emergencies, and they’ve been a solid addition to my safety gear. The magnetic base sticks well to my car, which makes setup quick and hands-free. The USB rechargeable feature is super convenient — no more buying batteries all the time. The lights are bright and highly visible, which gives me peace of mind if I ever have to use them at night or in bad weather. They hold a charge well too. Overall, a dependable and practical safety tool I’m glad to have.

Good quality and work well
I have earlier versions of these that use AA batteries. They work well. The idea of adding a rechargeable battery makes sense. I have had the AA battery units in my cars for years and then tested them and found the batteries were fine. But, it is possible they would have died after years in the trunk. The rechargeable battery could be recharged from the car battery using a cell phone charger (standard USB included). Even with a low battery that won't start a car, there's enough "juice" to run a cell phone or charge these.I think the rechargeable concept is a good idea. Otherwise, these work as well as the previous models. In practical use, these things are bright! I have driven along the road and there was a car on the side of the road with at least 3 of these running that circular pattern. You would have to be blind not to see this from quite a distance. These are so much better and safer than the open-flame traditional road flares. And, these last far longer than the traditional road flare. Being magnetic and with a built-in plastic hook/hanger in the back, there are options for getting them up higher such as on your roof or on the back of your RV or trailer, for example. For the cost of these things, I think it's a no-brainer to get them. And, the little case to hold them makes a difference. It's just easier, so go for that, too.Short story: One time my alternator died and the battery ran down. The car died. I was stuck on a highway at night in a pelting rainstorm in a dark red car. My 3-way flashers would not even work. I figured at any moment, I would get rear-ended because there was almost no shoulder. It was one of the only times I ever called 911. They came out and set up some flares until the tow truck arrived. Thankfully. After that, I started carrying flares. That was years and years ago. Since then, these LED units were invented and I switched to those.I have sets of 3 for each of my cars. Well worth the piece of mind, IMHO.

Economical and effective
The media could not be loaded. Purchased the EcoAngel USB Rechargeable LED Road Flare 3 Beacon Disk Pack for the piece of mind of having some protection in the event of being broken down on the side of the roadway. We own a travel trailer so the chances of one day finding ourselves on the side of the road in the dark are higher than average. We wanted something to help stay safe while changing a flat or waiting for help. The 3 Beacon Disc Pack included an instruction booklet, 3-way USB charging cable, handy carrying/storage bag and 3 beacons. Each beacon has options for laying down flat, standing on edge, hanging from the built-in hook or using the built-in magnet. The 9 different light patterns are shown in the included review video. They also include a flashlight mode.Pros:Conveniently storedLightweightVery bright with many pattern optionsRecharge all at once and fairly quicklyCon:This specific set is USB-A to 3 USB Micros. There is a newer version of the product with the now standard USB-C

Rechargeable, Mostly Rugged, very Bright
These excellent emergency flashers are pretty well made stand up to a lot with one exception noted below. They are rechargeable, many of the cheaper versions are not, and those eat batteries. The packs can be set to solid color and various patterns, including the Morris code for “SOS.” There is also a white LED flashlight type option, and it is only mildly annoying that it flashes on as your cycle through and get your square in the face. It’s bright though and if you do need the white light like a flashlight, it’s handy. The rubberized outer portion most helps hold them in place and protects the surface. They are placed on semicolon magnet on the back means they can be stuck many places, the hook means you can hang them in more others. All around a highly useful, highly versatile, highly recommended product. And now the exception: The USB charging port is extremely fragile. It is attached directly to the interior circuit board without any apparent reinforcement, and it is extremely easy to accidentally break the charging port. Indeed, I had one puck arrived that was seemingly partly detached, and after the first charging, the charging port pulled out with the cable.Since they had been a gift, it was well past the return limits.Charge them gently, but definitely recommend this set. At this point our household has three or four sets.

Bright, sturdy, and perfect for safety on the road
These are so great for safety on the road. You get 12 in a small, reflective orange bag. They are chargeable with a micro USB on one end, and USB 2.0 on the other. Each cable is split out with the USB 2.0 on one end, and three micros on the other, so can charge three at once. The units are made of SUPER sturdy orange plastic with a rubber, grippy feel. They also have a strong magnet on one side if needed to stick to metal. They have red LEDs along all the sides, and white LEDs on one flat side (side without hook).I cycled through all the settings, using a single push of the power button. VERY simple to use. The red LEDs have always on, spinning, and blinking settings. They’re bright in the sun, super bright in the dark. The white LEDs on the top side only have an always on steady setting. SO BRIGHT. This steady-only setting for the white LED is the only drawback, as flashing would be nice.Overall, a VERY good product and lots of worth for the money. I’m going to gift a set of these to every family member for their birthday! So easily A+.
