I really like the safety features of this I have a bad habit of leaving my other Rotary cutter open and have laid my arm on the open blade. Very lucky that I didn't get cut. It is very sharp and so far I have cut alot of different fabrics with it and it is still very sharp.

I was a little iffy on the reviews and how others say it fell apart but besides the way it came (which it was open, there was tape to put it back together) the rotary cutter cut pretty nice didn't fall apart and has a tight grip

Blade runs into the plastic no matter what position it's in, seems cheaply made

The handle design is nice, allowing to extend the cutting wheel just when you want to cut fabric. However, their much-touted "Titanium coated" cutting wheel does not perform at all well. On my seclond day of usage, cutting pieces for quilts, the wheel began skipping, a bit every rotation of the wheel. I tried to keep using the cutter for several more days, and the cut just got worse and worse. When I finally gave up a week or so later, the wheel was missing a couple of inches out of every 5 inch quilt square I was cutting. I had ordered a second cutter for my daughter to use, and on her second day using it, it too began to skip just like the first cutter. I have returned both for refund. The only way these cutters could be used, would be to use a cutting wheel made by some other vendor. I have a 10 year old cutter with no brand name on it, that has been cutting just fine for a full year on the most recent blade I bought.

Screw came loose and blade fell off on first use. Seller sent warning email several days after delivery but I had already used it by that time and the thin washer or something was bent. Blade skips and doesn't cut smoothly, leaving spots that have to be cut with scissors and this is just with one tee shirt fabric thickness. This is my first rotary cutter so I don't know if it is common with all of them or just with this one. Not really comfortable to use either. Don't think I'll bother to get more blades. Maybe it would work with paper.

I had struggled with other rotary cutters because the blade screw would constantly loosen and th blade wobble. This product works perfectly. I have had no trouble with it loosening at all. It is perfect for my projects just as the description says.

Be very careful! This thing is extreemly sharp. Not for children or uncoordinated adults, either! You should have a backer behind what you are cutting on. Thumbs up for me, i like this new cutting tool!
