I have been looking for a smaller size to fit around borders and this fits nicely. I did have some reluctance as i wanted a corded model but those around seemed all battery powered and the one corded i found had poor reviews. This does the job nicely. Used on fairly hard dry ground but with care and patience it did the job churning up the earth and taking out the unwanted growth. the blades are good. Also if it entangles with twine etc, it stops operating until removed ( take out the battery before doing so) i also hit a concrete post and it stopped too. i quite like that as it reduces the risk of damaging the blades. All in all, if you need a small area doing then a worthy buy.

Buying this was one of the best ideas I have had. Age and knackered limbs make gardening difficult. I did wonder how I was going to dig over the flower beds this year. This electric tiller has come to the rescue. It is easy to use and does a good job. The battery lasts a good 40 minutes and quite a lot of flower bed can be done in that time. I thought it would be like trying to hold on to a wild horse but it's not like that at all. It is easy and quite sedate to use. Just one tip.... if there are long strands of grass or other weeds then cut them down with a strimmer first. That prevents them wrapping around the blades and then having to clear them. Having now used one I would never be without one again.

Ideal for shallow cultivation to remove annual weed between rows of crops on allotment. Would benefit from a larger battery capacity.

This was ordered for my father and it arrived very quickly and ha has told me that he likes it a lot he has been able to use it and it makes it easier to do his garden and he is very pleased with this item.

Very quick delivery.Great value for money.Only took 20mins to piece together.It's lightweight and narrow enough to weave it's way effortlessly between plants and shrubs whilst breaking down the soil and digging up the weeds. I was really surprised as to how quiet it is too.I wish that I'd bought one of these years ago as I completed the borders in only 1hr instead of 10hrs when using a spade then a hoe.As it is cordless with 30mins runtime I bought a spare battery (just in case) but I didn't have to worry about tripping over a cable or having to use an extension cable.I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make their gardening easier whilst obtaining the perfect finish.
