Arctic Ice Tundra Series has a very unique freezing point of 5°F and is designed to help maintain a consistent freezer temperature in coolers. While not as cold as dry ice, Tundra Series can be used as a suitable replacement (it has been shown to maintain frozen temperatures for days in controlled testing). Due to its low freezing point, Tundra Series can take from 18-36 hours to freeze, depending on the temperature of freezer and number of panels being frozen. To ensure Tundra Series panels are frozen, the freezer should be turned to its lowest setting or at least 0°F. It is recommended that Tundra Series be used to maintain frozen goods, such as ice cream, meats, fish, etc. Use weight equivalent to dry ice normally used for great, re-usable results. Store panels in freezer so they are ready when needed. Tundra Series panels are also top-rack dishwasher safe! SPECS: 10.5" x 10.5"

Did the job
Wasn’t sure about going this route. I’ve always used ice blocks. And these I thought we’re a bit spendy. But so is ice for that matter, and I rarely come across block ice on the road, it’s usually crushed.I was going on a 10 day road trip thought I’d give it a try on a friends recommendation.I pre-chilled my ice chest, froze these ice packs for several days in my deep freeze, layered crushed ice on top of them, and froze my food as much as possible.Five days in, everything was still chilled very well, but because we were near a store, I added in some ice because I had a little room.As we use the food, it made more space so I added drinks which of course warms up your ice chest. So I added some ice two more times.Obviously, there are variables to each persons use: outdoor temp, quality of ice chest, how many times you open ice chest etc. But it kept it cold and worked great for me.

Easily freeze my 3 pack of store purchased thawed spare rib overnight in the cooler!
This thing is unreal in term of coldness. Only down side is it takes a few day to freeze. It handle thermal expansion well; no deform when frozen! Well worth the money. This is the only ice pack that I know will go 5F. Buy the 2pk for extra discount. Would buy more if I have the space!

Took me 3 days to freeze
Well they are massive just what i wanted but it takes 2 to 3 days to freeze in my deep freezer. I also used both to cool down some water and they only lasted around 5 hours. Maybe there not meant to be in water description doesnt say. Hopefully this info helps. There not for what i want them for.

It's cold verrrry cold
The big box on the back of my truck has a cooler in it with 1 inch foam around it, used 2 of the big artic ice blocks in it, 3 days later the milk in the cooler is frozen, if you want cold this is it , but it does take over a week to freeze in my freezer.

Amazing product!
Amazing product! It's like having a freezer in your ice chest. It actually refreezes melted ice at the bottom of the ice chest. It's so great that my husband wants me to order two more. (It's hard to believe it's a vegetable oil product...) How cool is that?

Not what I exspected!
Normal Ice packs have a gel like substance inside them. Theses ice packs have a watery substance in it. I would not have paid that price for it. I am hoping these very expensive ice packs stay frozen as long as the smaller cheap ones I already had otherwise this was a big waste!

Save your money
Product will not last a full day in a high end cooler that was precooled. It takes longer to freeze them then they last. A block of ice in the same cooler will last me 3-4 days in the same conditions. Absolute waste of money.
