Arrived within a day and ordered on a Sunday!! WoWEasier than making sandwiches to connect with my a7c AND a7cii. Both quickly discovered connected and paired with camera by pressing both shutter and + keys for 7 secs. The camera screen displayed all information for what to pair, pairing and paired. After testing the mkii with the shutter remote from up to 50ft away and through walls with not a problem, turned both camera + remote off for a few minutes, both reconnected without problem, though later noticed when I tested one camera, then returned to the other camera, I had to rePair again, BUT a very easy procedure that wouldn't take any time at all while I am outside and using the remote. Totally happy with this remote and highly recommended. The thing I liked most? Instructions are usually printed with tiny tiny print that requires a magnifying glass to read! WoW!! This was NOT that case, and was easy to read instructions that you don't really even need it's so easy. The only thing now is to see IF the camera battery dies faster due to BT being on - I discovered months ago with BT on, the charged battery left in the camera[s] ate away its charge, so I started removing the batteries.~ 17July: Last night took the remote out to shoot fireworks at the Falls. My newest Sony cameras don't allow corded remotes which I really like - no battery in use nor to replace at the most inappropriate moment. Arriving a half-hour early, I extensively tested the remote in ALL aspects before I relaxed enough to not be paranoid it wouldn't work when it needed to. Granted I'd already used it outdoors the other night, but its functionality could've been rigged - hahahaa. With everything checked and rechecked, established it was good to go, and as the fireworks over the Niagara Falls disappeared into smoke as the wind was almost calm, the remote worked effortlessly, and almost as good as having the corded remote, but guessing I'll have to settle for this in the meanwhile!

Sometimes takes a little bit of time to respond or focus correctly, and it can be finicky if there's anything between the camera and the remote. For example if it's in my pocket and I'm trying to take a shot from a few meters away, it won't work, but it works when I take my hand out of my pocket. Gah. So you gotta remember to use the timer in combination with it. Lotta things to keep track of, a problem if you're scatterbrained as me, heh.But hey! It is a remote shutter and it does work. I'm glad I got it. It tends to work fine. FWIW, I use it with an A7C.

besides coming on time it works great from any direction of the camera.

I had a Sony remote for my A6400 but it was RF. My teleprompter would largely block the signal making me very frustrated.This Bluetooth device, is inexpensive, easy to connect, and is very responsive when you press a button. No more playing twister trying to get the recording started!

If you have successfully paired the remote but the shutter and buttons aren't working and are flashing an error, go back to the settings menu and find the setting to turn on the bluetooth rmt ctrl which is a separate setting. Then it works great!

It doesn’t work with the Sony ZV-1F which is listed on the add. Very disappointed.

Purchased to use with my Nikon when taking photos. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it a lot yet but it seems to be easy to use and works great. It paired well with my Nikon.

Very happy with this product as I previously bought the JJC model and it failed after 1 day. Using the AODELAN model to trigger my Sony A7iv + it works every time. Plus 2 batteries included with this item.

Got my item about a week ago and I had issues getting it to work initially. I was able to pair the device with my A7R4 but I couldn’t use it to take photos wireless etc. After taking a while to figure out, it was a setting on my camera that I need to turn on and viola, it’s working now. Just tried it recently shooting fireworks.Bear in mind that the zoom function doesn’t work on my camera and lens. Only the remote shutter works. Even so I’m happy as I’m paying lesser.

the first one i got works fine and a marvelous toyordered another for my sister waiting since saturday for it to be shipped with a guaranteed delivery on wednesday ??
