Aviation Instructor's Handbook (2025): FAA-H-8083-9B (ASA FAA Handbook Series)

Get this, and read it entirely if you plan on becoming a cfi because this is not only important but also super helpful.

I saw a review that said the graphics were in black and white. I just bought the ASA version and can assure you that the graphics are in color. I just retired from publishing and I am very pleased with the quality of the ASA published version of this updated Aviation Instructors Handbook. Text and graphics are crisp and clear.

Overall happy with the book. The version I got was in color but I’ve heard some are not. I was happy that ASA added a table of contents which isn’t on the original pdf from the FAA. Wish the FAA used the old format of using columns like a traditional textbook
