4 Inch Heavy Duty Caster Wheels with Brake, 100mm 1200LB Polyurethane Swivel Industrial Lockable Rubber Trolley Caster Wheel (4-Pack)

Put these on a homemade welding cart that carries my MIG welder and shielding gas tank. Needed something robust as the welder and tank have a combined weight of around 120 # and that doesn't include the extra wire spools(3 different diameters @ 10# each), wrenches, and helmet/gloves. Installation was easy as they accept 5/16 x 1-3/4 " hex bolts. My frame is 1" square tubing and the length doesn't impede caster rotation, allows room for locking nuts, and is plenty strong enough. The polyurethane wheel material is quiet, rolls over multi surfaces, and is non-marring. The locking feature works well and is needed when changing tanks or on inclined surfaces. Very good value and I'll be ordering more for a couple of work tables.

I have an older tool cart that is quite heavy and came with relatively small casters... and what a pain to move it. As I reconfigure my garage to attempt to restore two cars at a time over the winter months, I have to be able to move everything in there. These casters blew my mind, because I honestly expected that at this price- they'd maybe function, but they'd be adequate at best. I was wrong- they're excellent. They roll very smoothly on bearings, the material used has traction so when the brakes are locked it won't slide on a smooth concrete like some metal-wheeled ones will do. The brakes work well, all four steer- which is something I've overlooked before. Having all four steering means being able to move in any direction, not just "driving" a cabinet or bench around in tight spaces.At this price, these are absolutely awesome. I will warn, however, that the bearing and plates are plastic and would likely need to be replaced with metal if you put these on something that is moved multiple times a day, every day. My suggestion would be that these are for mostly stationary things that need to be moved once a day, or similar application. The large wheels roll right over bumps, too! Awesome upgrade to my old Craftsman work bench/cabinet.

The media could not be loaded.  Summary: I recently upgraded a rolling stool from 2-inch to 3-inch wheels, and I could not believe how smoothly they rolled, so these 4-inch ones should roll as well, or better. 1200 pound capacity should be adequate for most projects.Observations: Made a quick video showing the individual components, and how freely the wheel spins.Recommendations: Remove the axle, and check that the bearings are pressed in firmly; on the one I disassembled, the wheel wobbled a little but I was able to push the bearing flush by hand.Pros: 1) decent fit & finish, 2) sealed bearings, 3) spins freely.Cons: The axle sleeve that goes over the bolt is a little undersized for the bearings; the bearings don't have a load bearing spacer between the two; the black spacers are plastic (could be swapped for standard metal washers).Conclusion: At $28 for the set of 4, these are 5-stars. Should be good for most garage or workshop projects; the 4-inch wheels will roll smoothly over lots of irregular surfaces which would hamper 2-inch wheels.

I got these 4 inch heavy duty casters to put on the bottom of my server rack in order to make it easier to access equipment from all sides. Installation was simple once I had the holes drilled, and I was able to use some screws and nuts I already had lying around to fasten the casters to the steel rack. The swivel action is buttery smooth, and the polyurethane orange wheels look as good as they roll, and without the risk of scratching up my hardwood floors. The brakes on these casters are incredibly robust, and I only have to engage the brake on one of the four casters in order to keep it in place. Fantastic product, at an amazing price offers tons of value. Highly recommend this product.

I recently replaced the steel 2 inch casters on my platform jack (ratchet style lifting device) with 2 inch poly wheel casters and it made a huge difference. I discovered though, that when I moved the platform jack, the 2 inch casters had a difficult time rolling over the expansion joints in my concrete.I thought about upgrading to 3 inch casters, but when I saw these 4 inch casters were available to order, I jumped at the chance.The result of 4 inch v/s 2 inch is amazing. My heavy loads (sometimes around 500 pounds) now easily roll across the shop without getting stuck in the cracks.
