Amazing sound at a great price!
The Y Gaming Surround Sound Headset is for people who understand how premium audio can change the way you experience a game. As games have matured, their audio has become more complicated and diverse. Only a decent pair of headphones can do that music justice.More to the point, audio design has become a basic part of game mechanics. Hearing a footstep in Call of Duty Black Ops 3 from what sounds like the right could mean the difference between catching an opponent in time and watching them run past you on the kill cam. It’s the same with Halo 5: Guardians, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and every other game worth playing.

Not reliable
Light weight, fairly comfortable, and work well...for a few months. This is the second pair of the these I have had. The left ear quit working at 8 months on the first set and the right ear quit working after 3 months on the second. There won't be a third.

These headphones were the best of the three
I compared these headphones to the SADES SA-708 and the Sentey Symph Gs-4531. These headphones were the best of the three. The only reason I even tried them was because I have a Lenovo Y-700 laptop, and they match.As far as sound goes, they were really all about the same. These were slightly better, especially after downloading the software. However, they really shine in the fit and finish department. The headphone buckets swivel independently of the frame and the foam is softer. The result is an excellent seal. Additionally, the cord is one that is wrapped in material, not rubber. These tend to get suck on each other and other things less.The final feature I enjoyed is that this headsets microphone is removable. You can wear them, and they look just like any other headset. There is storage for the microphone on the the headphone wire near the USB/microphone plugs.Overall, a great set of headphones!

These headphones are poor quality. The first mic that came with it didn't work and a week later the left ear went dead. I'd stay away from these, look for headphones from a more reputable company.
