Easy setup and use. Right out of the box.
I wish I had this tool 30 years ago. Yesterday I had to make two double plywood cuts, cutting two sheets of half inch pressure treated plywood into 16 inch strips. Zip, zam, zing. No more chalk line and wandering cuts. A crisp, clean and straight line in nothing flat. Love it. Great value, too.

Good tool
This tool has been worth it. I have used it for a few years now and am happy whenever I have to use it. The extension works just fine and I draw a straight line every time. Also the metal has not tarnished.

Favorite Shop Helper
This is my all-time favorite helper in my “shop”. I don’t use it the way it is meant for. Instead, I use it as a giant straight edge for use with my smaller saw. Works wonderfully.

Easy to lose the clamps
Gives good straight cuts, but the clamps are small and easy to misplace, especially when not in use - it would be nice if there was a case to go with it. I've used for shorter cuts and long cuts and have been happy with the results.

Looking forward to trying it out
I'm replacing an old 1x4 I was using as a guide with this Sawson guide. I like the quality and the two 50" sections. As an upgrade to the guide it would be really nice if they had a mounting hole on the ends of the bars so they could be hung up for storage, unless this is not a good way to store them.Another good idea would be to silkscreen inch marks (or if you HAD to MM marks) to helping layout your cut lines.Haven't had a chance to use it yet, looking forwad to it.

I love this thing!
I've got a nice Table saw that works well but it can be scary to use especially for one person. But I found a way to cut 4x8 sheets of siding by placing a 4x8 sheet of foam insulation board down on a clean carport, setting the blade depth on my Dewalt cordless circular saw just a micrometer below the width of the plywood I'm cutting. Then I use two little spring-loaded clamps to hold this guide into place, one clip on each end. Now I'm ready to cut straight line and even angled lines. Oh, my table saw doesn't cut angles well. Yes, the foam board will be ultimately sacrificed, but I'll bet I've got 50 cuts off this cheap stuff and it's still got hundreds of cuts left if not more. Being on my knees, makes guiding the saw effortless and much safer than having the plywood up on sawhorses. There is no shifting of my position needed. Just crawl forward with the battery powered circular saw and presto.

Great buy!
This was so inexpensive, I bought it as a throwaway if it didn’t work. I was blown away by the speed of set up and the accuracy. It turned my circular saw into a track saw. That is a big statement, but my cuts are very accurate and I have used this many times since the purchase. I highly recommend this as a very price effective alternative to the expensive track saws. I really wanted an excuse to buy a track saw. Now that I have this tool, I will not be buying a track saw. That is the bad news, but the good news is I can use the money saved to buy some other tool. I did make a little jig to help with the setup. I cut a piece of wood the width of the edge of my circular saw to the blade. I draw the cut line, lay down the straight edge, place the jig on the line, move the straight edge against the jig into place and clamp it. I do the same with the other end and ready to cut. I thought about making the jig for several weeks and finally took the two minutes to measure and make it. It made things so much easier and faster. Also improved accuracy because it is now dead on.

Strong and straight
I clamp it to my cutting table and use it as a straight edge to prep my leather sides to cut straps. Works great
