So many IP cookbooks on the shelves - But - here's the only one you'll need.
In the spirit of full disclosure, like I did with Eisner’s first IP cookbook, I will state that I’m a huge fan of his recipes, techniques, and presentation. This book contains lighter fare but doesn’t skimp on nutrition or taste. Jeff is an internet cooking personality and can be seen on GMA and Rachel Ray. That said, let’s get to the cookbook. This book takes all the fear out of cooking with an Instant Pot. It starts briefly, in Eisner’s friendly manner with an introduction to the IP, then has the color keys explained (Keto, Paleo, Dairy-Free, etc.) so you’ll be able to choose the recipes that most fit your lifestyle. The recipe sections are more or less standard but the choices and results are above and beyond:Soups & Stews – try the Turkey Taco SoupPasta – Chicken & PeppersRice & Grains – I love the Chicken Congee. It’s thick and satisfyingPoultry – I’ve had the Carolina Pulled Chicken Slaw & recommendMeat - wow – there’s healthy Crispy Carnitas made with the Fryer LidSeafood – try the Bouillabaisse – it alone is worth the price of the bookVeg & Sides – how about some Elote? Mexican Street CornDesserts – Yes to the Baked ApplesThere are nearly 100 recipes and he’s included a dozen that use the new Air Fryer lid if you have one. The biggy that separates Jeff’s cookbooks from the many others on the shelves is that on each and every page he has a series of photos that will walk you through the process. Grandma is giving Jeff an A+ with an extra star for effort. ******

Too Much Sodium :(
I really was looking forward to this cookbook, but am disappointed. The sodium levels are so high in so many of the recipes! There may be less calories per serving, but with sodium levels this high, you’re risking high blood pressure, which could lead to heart disease or stroke.

I'm really sad to just give this 1 star...but
I'm really sad , because I was so excited to get this book. (I have his other one and I love it) I eat very healthy, so im familiar with the ingredients within the book. I honestly just didn't find anything in this book that I was like omg! I can't wait to make that!! Most of the recipes looked or sounded unappealing. There is maybe a handful of recipes that I'll probably make just so I don't feel like I wasted my money. I'm honestly debating returning it because it's not a book I'll use often (and I absolutely love my cookbooks) so ya, I'm definitely disappointed 😔

SO many good recipes!
I got this book on its release day and have cooked enough recipes now for me to give it a thorough review. Some things I love about this book:1. All the information and suggested substitutions at the beginning. I saw another review here where the reviewer complained that the recipes were very high in sodium. They actually aren't, but in case you want to lower the sodium even more you can follow Jeffrey's suggestions for doing so.2. A complete table of contents AND an index. So many cookbooks do not have both. They may have a table of contents that says "Chapter One: Poultry" or "Soup" or whatever. I do not find that helpful. But this book lists out all the recipes in that section, AND gives nutritional information about whether it's gluten or dairy free, or vegan, etc.3. The photos of each step of every recipe. Personally things always make more sense when I can *see* them. The recipes that I've tried so far:1. White Chicken Chili, p. 62. SO GOOD! The only change I made was to use only one poblano pepper because we don't like things spicy. I could taste the spice with only one pepper but it wasn't overwhelming. I served it with some dollops of sour cream on top.2. Dijon Dill Chicken, p. 156. Per Jeffrey's suggestion I served it with the Carrot and Shallot "Fried" Rice. For the chicken I used boneless skinless thighs and left them whole. I also did not use ghee because my store didn't have any and I have no butter to make it. Next time. :) This is a very easy recipe...few ingredients and few steps. My Dijon-loving husband thought it was excellent. I was VERY glad that I doubled the recipe because we ate it as leftovers the next night, and then I may or may not have had the last piece of chicken with sauce for breakfast the day after the leftover day.3. Carrot and Shallot "Fried" Rice, p. 118. An excellent way to dress up ordinary rice, and it adds some extra nutrients too. I doubled this recipe also but should have tripled it. I also used more carrots than indicated in the recipe because I had them in the refrigerator and we like carrots.4. Chana Saag (Spinach Chickpea Curry), p. 230. SO good, and what a smell when you release the pressure! It's the cinnamon and garam masala that give it the delicious aroma. I served this on plain white rice. I also added extra spinach for the same reason I added extra carrots to #3 above... why not? And, although I had intended to use dried chick peas I was happy to see the "Jeff's tip" on this recipe: "Didn't remember to soak the chickpeas ahead of time? No sweat....use canned..." It turned out great!5. Banana Bread, p. 256. A fabulous gluten free banana bread! SO good. I bought a big bag of almond flour from Costco so now I have a reason to make more of this bread... I mean, I can't let the flour go to waste, right? I made it as-is the first time, then the second time I added some chocolate chips. Yum both ways! Also, I did NOT follow the "Jeff's tip" to let it cool before eating, at least not for the first slice. It smelled so good we had to try it right away.I have several more recipes marked for next week, and I'll be cooking even more of these in the future. I would highly recommend that if you want a good Instant Pot cookbook you buy this one (and his first one too).

Fantastic! Don’t hesitate to buy this cookbook as well as the first one.
Best instant pot cook book by far. I have both of the Pressure Luck cookbooks by Jeffrey Eisner and they are amazing. I like that he used lighter ingredients in these recipes. Made the Cauliflower Rice and Broccoli Casserole last nice right after the new book was delivered and my husband commented that he normally doesn’t like Cauliflower rice but that this was delicious. His step by step directions with photos makes everything so easy to follow. I also find myself coming back time and again to the general cooking charts to refresh my memory of how long to cook just basic things like oatmeal, fish, poultry, etc, when I’m not using a recipe. His cook and release times are spot on. Buy both books. You won’t be sorry. You will get rave reviews on what you cook. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious!

Not as good as his first book
The book is well Laid out and the steps are clear and illustrated. However the recipes are not tempting. I realise this book contains healthier recipes than his previous book which was a bit heavy on the cream and cream cheese but all delicious.

Book
The book is brilliant, although, like so many books bought from Amazon, they appear to have got damp and thus warp, totally ruining them in my view. Not pleased to be honest.
