The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was a little hesitant to buy after reading a lot of negative reviews about it not stocking well and tearing easily. While yes it IS very thin, for me that worked better. It allowed me to wrap my headboard seamlessly and covered perfectly. You need to go extremely slow and smooth as you peel the backing away. I start on one end only sticking down about and inch width to get it started and then slowly press/smooth it down as I peel the backing off so it doesn’t stick to itself. I ordered black and it is more of a dark slate grey than pure black but it is gorgeous. I love it. It is sticking perfectly with zero bubbles or creases.

I love this product and it's a very bright gold just like the pictures. the only thing is that it's VERY thin and breaks easily. I bought more to finish the project, it looks great

UPDATE: The more I look at it, the more I hate it. It's dull and every single seam is highly visible. The media could not be loaded. After a few weeks of having put this contact paper on my new desk it got dirty and it wouldn’t wipe off no matter what I used. So I decided to remove it and it ripped the top layer of my desk off and left a sticky residue. The color was not accurate with the description either. The only good thing about this product is that it’s easy to apply (doesn’t stick very well when you first put it down) and it’s very sparkly and pretty. Would I try this product again? Maybe but only on furniture I don’t care to ruin. So now I will attempt to spray paint my desk pink since it’s ruined. Please like if you found this helpful. Results may vary depending on material you apply this contact paper to.

I purchased this beautiful contact paper for my classroom door and it didn't take long for dirty finger and handprints to stain it. I was unable to wash the prints off so had to remove the contact paper that was within little hands' reach. (Removing was harder than expected. It peeled off in small pieces and left behind a sticky residue. It took a special cleaner and a scraper to remove the residue, but it was possible without damaging the surface underneath. It took a little more time than I was hoping for.) It is beautiful and I'd use it again, but next time I'll think carefully about where I place it.
