This "game machine" was very tiny and lightweight, almost too good to be true... Although tiny and cute looking, it rattled immediately after unboxing. This product never worked. After decoding the secret instructions for needing the 2nd controller plugged in in order to use the select function, I selected a game that never existed in 8-bit on NES, Mortal combat 4 just to see how that was possible. Turns out it wasn't. The game went into a demo mode which I could not escape from so I tried to use the restart button which was just for show. After turning the system on and off again a few times it no longer was recognized by my screen and could never get it back. I packed it back up and off it goes back to where it came. Crazy number of misspelled titles in the long list, many that were never NES games.Too bad I was curious about "Pac Land," "Hello Kidy," and "Woder Pip"....

This is NOT the NINTENDO brand consolem this is a cheaper knock off. It's hard to navigate and there is no way to return to the main menu without shutting down or restarting the console. Save your money.

I love the idea of this, however the controllers don't work well. One doesn't go left, so when playing a two person game, we have to plug in the good controller each time. Depending on the game and need, you're screwed. On Contra, one controller doesn't go left (or back) and the other controller doesn't crouch, so you get killed easily. There is a delay in controller movements...and you have to hit reset every time you want to change games. As much nostalgia this brought, I'm too frustrated with the controllers and will return. I hope I can find something that works.

While it is fun to play super Mario again, my biggest struggle with this machine has been the controllers. I ordered my second one that showed up today and none of the left arrow buttons work right. This new one seems to even be a little bit worse where the arrow pad is just a piece of junk.

I was so excited to get this and try all of the old school games. When it arrived I unboxed it like a kid at Christmas, got everything all hooked up and attempted to play. The thing wouldn’t work. It turned on. But the everything was frozen I tried several times to turn power on and off to reset it. But even when I did see movement on the screen. The controllers wouldn’t work. Seller or manufacture place would not do a a return on product. Thankfully Amazon refunded my money. I do not recommend this product :(

Didn’t turn on

When I bought this item it didnt say mini version. I am very disappointed and on top of that there is no way to sift threw thousands of game titles you can hardly read. The box it came in accidentally got thrown away so I can’t even return it now.My family and I haven’t even touched it since the night we opened it!! Big waste of money! Any way I can get a refund?

Cool It has so many games. Not cool the wires were bend when I opened it. In order for it to work I must jimmy it and wrap the cord around. The wires are loose.
