Strathmore Photo Mount Cards and Envelopes White Embossed Package Of 10, 5 x 6.875 Inch

I paint small watercolor pictures and affix them on these cards. People love them and the embossed edges really look nice. The adhesive squares included are fine for photos but aren't always enough for a 4" x 6" piece of watercolor paper. Fortunately I have plenty of other options for mounting my pictures.

A 4X6 photo fits perfectly in the space provided. The card & envelope are the same color white.Have used this item for years to share photos. Friends and family enjoy receiving the photo card.

Great for making photo greeting cards

I'm not in love with the cards but they're okay. Thickness is good; adhesion is good when I could figure out how to peel off the backs. It took some figuring out since the instructions don't come with visuals.The box came a little smashed on the bottom so the corners of the cards were slightly affected, but only slightly so; still usable.The envelope flap has a serrated look which I don't care for. None of the negatives are deal breakers but they annoy me enough to rate it a 4 rather than a 5.

I use these cards as getting cards with my own photos. The paper is high quality and the embossing around the edges gives a nice finished look. The double-sided sticky squares hold the photos in place, but the glue on the envelopes doesn't stick well so I use a regular white glue, like Elmer's, to seal them.

My mistake. I didn't pay close attention to the description. These are "mount" cards, not "frame" cards. What I wanted was a "frame" card. With a mount card your photo adheres to the card - using double-sided adhesive strips. A "frame" card is different. That's where you slide the photo into the card's frame just like a portfolio frame.However, as far as "mount" cards go, these are good quality. The tape isn't cheap, nor are the cards.. Your 4" x 6" photo mounts (sticks) easily and securely on the 5" x 7" card stock. You could easily place the card in a good 5" x 7" frame and not need to use a mat because the card's border is decorative.As I use-up this 10-pack of cards, it's possible that I may learn to appreciate the "mount" as much as the "frame" structure. The card stock and tape are that good.

For my 4 x 6 inch cards, I make 4 slits with an exacto knife at the paper's inner corners and slip the photo in the slits. There is no need to use an adhesive this way and no cut into the embossed areas. I love the embossing and the card stock is just right. Looks very professional.

these are great cards. they have an indentation for the photo and adhesives that work really well. they have a nice design to surround the photo. the only thing that would make them better is if they were made from recycled paper.

It took a while before getting them in my hand but otherwise I'm satisfied with them. The relief embedded appearance is beautiful. Also it comes with double side stickers to glue the picture in place. It looks like a professional mounted image.

I love these, but they came in a bubble envelope instead of a box and got pretty crushed. I unfortunately need these for an event and market coming up so I'm going to have to make due.
