Wow, it really works! But beware of overfilling!
I was so skeptical upon first making this purchase. I had seen countless bad reviews on other devices of this nature, but due to the ongoing heatwave in California, I finally gave in and bought one. And, am I glad I did - I can finally sleep again! I'm amazed by how well it works. The air it emits isn't "cold" per se, but is noticeably COOL compared to the unbearably-warm ambient room temperature. It comes with a small ice holder that you fill up and freeze, and then attach to the bottom of the filter assembly. You then fill the base with water (but see below!), and place it in the center of the device. The filter soaks up the chilled water, and cools the air as it blows across it. Quite primitive, but it actually does a decent job! I'm not so sure something this basic is worth $50, but I was willing to spend that money if it would ensure greater comfort at night.Upon first use, it ran until early morning, and kept me cool. I put it next to my bed, and angled it to blow at me. It emits a nice breeze and isn't too loud, so you can sleep soundly while running it. The bright blue lights, though, can be a bit of a nuisance. It automatically turns off when the water runs low (or after 7+ hours), and almost all the water was gone in the morning - meaning it is pretty efficient. My only complaint is that it is NOT well-designed from an overflow perspective. If you accidentally put in too much water (or if the ice holder displaces the water too much), it will pour out of drain holes in the bottom, onto whatever surface it happens to be on. As such, MAKE SURE to put either a plastic bag or towel underneath it to avoid damaging finishes or soaking your carpet. Also, it does NOT come with a USB wall adapter, but this is no big deal since it will function with any standard USB charger, whether for a phone or other device. You could even plug it into your computer, although I'd be cautious due to the potential for water leakage.

Not worth it. Does not cool at all. Collects mold.
With this heat I thought I give this fan a try, not worth the money. Go to Lowe’s or target and you can buy a mush better fan for the same price. Adding water and ice makes no difference. Cheaply made.Update: this fan also starts to collect mold on the paper that absorbs the water, it starts to smell very bad and looks disgusting. Do not buy!!! 0 stars.

Do not buy this!!!
Do not buy this. Nice idea, but there is no fan power. I put water and ice in it and you can barely feel it. Not worth $47.07! This was rated very high, but it's just not the truth.

Its alright
Not as big as I hoped for but does the job as advertised. The ice tray literally holds one or two cubes and some water in the reservoir. Slightly smaller than a shoe box. But does the job. As for price I dont think the price for this is worth if it were 5-10bucks cheaper I'd recommend.

Smaller and less cooling than advertised.
Very weak fan

Returned it one day after buying it
Piece of cheap plastic made in China. Has a tiny container to put water or ice in. It spills while trying to put it in. Turn it on. Imagine holding a small electric hand fan and an ice cube in front of your face. There you go! It's worthless and is made from cheap plastic so will break soon I'm sure. Can't believe anyone is giving this good reviews. I wouldn't have paid $10 for this.

Pathetic Deception
This “air conditioning” unit is just as good as a middle school student’s engineering project. I could’ve built this if I wanted to. It’s just a cheap fan with a filter and an added touch system (which is too sensitive). Its speeds are literally comical, it probably changes the temperature of a 20 square foot room by .5 degrees. Up or down. What pissed me off the most was the fact that this initially had really good reviews, fooling everybody into believing that this is worth your money. Do your research, don’t just trust ratings and reviews, look up YouTube videos. This was the biggest waste of money I’ve spent all year.

DOA
Here are a few things that you must know about this item:- it is REALLY tiny, so I am not sure how much cooling effect it will could possible produce. It is much smaller than you think it is.- it is made in the most inexpensive manner possible - i.e. in the best traditions of Chinese manufacturing.- mine was DOA. The fan was detached from its housing.
