Super happy with my new feather pillows.
I ordered these 26x26 - 95% Feather 5% Down Square pillows on November 2016 for 35.59 on Prime. I read many reviews and decided to order larger sizes for my pillow goal size of 20 x 20. These pillows look ginormous when they arrive. They are vacuum sealed together flat in a plastic pouch and then put inside a second plastic bag. I was unsure of what material would be used for the case lining, feathers are notorious for poking through thin materials. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive these and find the lining is sturdy and thick, thicker than you would find on a sleeping pillow but still flexible and soft. I fluffed the pillows and they fluff really nicely and full, but do flatten out easily when leaning against them. I shook all the feathers down and folded the edges to my goal size of 20 x 20 and the pillow was perfectly full. I am excited to finish making my cases so that I can take photos of the finished product for you. They smell like new pillows. The material is not scratchy or noisy. I think these were a great buy for the price and I am happy with them! The price for 20 x 20 pillows was the same so I am glad I was able to find a way to get more full pillows for the same cost.Update! Made cases for my pillows from duck canvas. They hold shape well and are comfy to sit against! I ended making 22x22 sized pillow cases. They flatten a little when sat on, but fluff right back into shape. Glad I purchased a bigger sized pillow for a smaller sized case. :)Update - One year out and I am still glad for these pillows. I don’t get any feathers poking through material. They are still fluffy.

Excellent quality, soft pillows with medium support. No feather pokes!
I purchased these along with another brand that costs half as much and are the same feather and down combination and find that you can tell the difference in the quality and for me the extra cost was worth it. The feathers don’t poke through and the filling is soft and comfortable for decorative pillows, although they don’t offer a ton of support. But for me I was looking for decorative pillows so these are perfect and I ended up purchasing more because I figure they’ll be on my couch for a long time so it was worth paying double the price.

Highly recommended!
I recently added throw pillow inserts to my home decor, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the difference they make. The inserts are plush and provide just the right amount of firmness, making my pillows both comfortable and supportive. They retain their shape well, even after consistent use, which is a testament to their quality and durability. These inserts have a full and fluffy appearance, adding a touch of elegance to my sofa and chairs. The fabric cover is sturdy, preventing any potential tearing or feather poking, which ensures they remain comfortable over time. I also appreciate that they are hypoallergenic, making them suitable for everyone in the household.Overall, these throw pillow inserts have greatly enhanced the look and feel of my living space, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their home decor.

Insert fit perfectly
I really like the soft cotton cover on this insert. It fit my 14x36 pillow case perfectly, giving the finished pillow a structured but soft look. Highly recommend!

Compared PureDown to Basic Home and Pillowflex pillows
I compared Pillowflex against PureDown and Basic Home 22x22 inch pillows. I ended the Pillowflex. Pillowflex: Right PureDown: Middle Basic Home: LeftHere's how they broke down:Pillowflex - most expensive $33/pillow. But there isn't the crinkle that you sometimes get with the cheap down used in most of these pillows. You can still do the chop with it, and it has some heft. If you fell asleep on the couch it'd be a good pillow to sleep on. The con is that the outer material is super scratchy. Not really a fan, but as these are inserts, I'll only have to deal with that as I change out the pillows seasonally.PureDown - Medium price $23/pillow. I like these pillows! If I hadn't received the Pillowflex first I probably would just use these. They squish, they hold a chop the outer material is super soft. They are great. The only downside is that they crinkle a little bit. Its not bad, and if you've had cheap down pillow inserts you know what I'm talking about. Its a VERY slight crinkle. I have some of these, I like them!Basic Home - Cheapest price $20/pillow. These pillows aren't my favorite for a few reasons. The material is almost air tight - which might be good for staining - but it makes them feel like a leaky sleeping air pad. They take a few to flatten when squished. Also compared to the other 2 brands they were lumpy and really crinkly. I would definitely spend the extra $3 and go for Puredown ones instead.

Neon orange
These looked okay inside my house.. cut off the tags because I thought I liked them.. got them in the sunlight and they are VERY neon orange! Think of Home Depot’s buckets. They did fluff up super nicely. Seem very durable and good quality! So sad the color isn’t going to work!
