Great little mixer!
Bought this mixer while traveling for a dish we wanted to make. We picked this one based off size, reviews and price. We were looking for something small so we could pack to bring home and it is on the smaller size, so if you're looking for a big heavy mixer this is not it! This one is lightweight yet powerfu and seems to be of good quality. It comes with multiple speeds and served our purposes well. We couldn't decide who got to take it home as we all wanted it! LolI especially loved the storage containerthat snaps underneath the mixer to store the beaters, so smart! Perfect for travel, camping or even at home. Could make a great gift as well, especially if recipient has limited space.

A powerful and compact hand mixer, with storage for the attachments
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This hand held mixer was ordered to replace an older one which was dying. The advantages it has over the one we previously had are 1) it snaps into a case in which the attachments are stored, 2) it has a whisk attachment as well as two standard beaters, 3) the various speed settings are more powerful than our old one, and 3) it has a good cord length.

A great basic hand mixer
This is a very basic hand mixer which is what I was looking for. Nothing fancy, just functional and a good weight. The price was right too.

A solid choice from a familiar name, and a great value
After many decades of service, my Kitchenaid hand mixer -- which still worked perfectly -- could no longer keep ithe beaters secured. Yes, I know that it could possibly be fixed, but due to its age and the fact that I've fixed enough in my life at this point, I didn't bother to explore if the parts for this 30+ year old model were still available to do so. So I did my research and read reviews, and this mixer looked like it would fit the bill -- and it did. Solid quality, performs well, powerful enough for my baking needs, a nice weight (not too heavy, but also not too light) and the fact that it can be stored along with its attachments (including a whisk) was a revelation to me. I do wish it had come with wire beaters instead of flat ones, but I am hoping to find compatible ones.

Very powerful, efficient and clean looking!
This is a great value for a cute little mixer! I have been looking at finding one for a while to make cookies and whisk my eggs with and after a friend said she had this same exact one from Amazon and loved it, I ordered it.I have used it several times so far and find it works very efficiently. It is not heavy at all, so it is very easy to hold. There are different settings to make it stronger and the top strongest one is almost too powerful. I like that it does the job and quickly. It mixes everything together effortless and I didn't make a mess with flour spraying everywhere. The connector parts are simple to slip in and out and it has a nice little eject button. They were very easy to wash, just stuck it in the dishwasher and they were clean and when also when I cleaned them by hand they were an easy clean as well. The best part is that it has a cute little holder that fits the attachments in, so it looks nice and organized in my cabinet and does not take up too much space. Also there is a little plastic snap thing on the plug cord so you can neatly and nicely have your plug looking wrapped up nice and not all over the place.Worth the price for sure!

Good buy
Good mixer easy to use hopefully will last a long time. Every time I get a mixer the beaters are the first thing to go by not setting on the holes.

GREAT FOR YOUR BASIC MIXING NEEDS
This hand mixer is medium sized and comes equipped with two traditional beaters and a whisk attachment. It also comes with a snap on storage case so you can store all the parts together. This keeps you from having to go on a scavenger hunt in your drawers every time you need your beaters. The mixer has a bowl rest feature and runs on 6 speeds with a quick burst button. Peak power is 250 watts. In the past, I have used both hand mixers and stand mixer and depending on the situation, I enjoy using both of them. When I purchased this product and decided to write the review, I decided to research the advantages of using a hand mixer. I read many articles that elaborated on the benefits of using a hand mixer, but the one that peaked my interest was published by Craftsy. It talked about a hand mixer vs a stand mixer and their differences. It also laid out the advantages and disadvantages of both of them and I want to share them with you now.HAND MIXERS: A handheld device of which there are:EGG BEATER: This is a hand held device with a crank on the side that's connected to beaters (usually two). It i operated using two hands - one to hold a handle on the top to keep the beater steady and the other hand to operate the crank, creating the beating.ELECTRIC HAND MIXER: Basically, this is a more modern version of the egg beater type mixer, but with a motor (pictured here). A motor is encased in a top section which has a handle (not unlike an iron). It is the motor that moves the beaters rather than cranking a handle.ADVANTAGES OF HAND MIXERS:Less expensive than a stand mixerQuick and easy clean upIt takes up minimal space in your kitchenWell suited to quick tasks such as whipping cream or egg whitesBecause the beaters are not fitted to a particular mixing bowl, you can use a hand mixer in any type of bowlDISADVANTAGES OF HAND MIXERS:With a smaller motor, it's mixing capability isn't as strong as a stand mixerBecause the bowl will not be in a fixed position, it can be easy to splash what you're mixing out of the bowl if you don't have a steady handIf a batter is very thick, it can be difficult to maneuver the smaller mixer through it in a mixing bowlSTAND MIXERS: Stand mixers have a frame that acts as a housing for a heavier-duty motor than a hand mixer as well as a mounting base for a bowl. The bowl is designed to fit the mixer and lock in place during the mixing. Usually, stand mixers will have various mixing attachments including a flat beater (paddle), a whisk and a dough hook.ADVANTAGES OF STAND MIXERS:The large mixing bowl helps avoid splashing batter out of the bowlThe stable bowl allows you to walk away from the bowl. If you're mixing something for 5 minutes, you don't have to be holding the bowl and mixer the whole timeMixing is much quicker, even with a thick batter or doughStand mixers are more likely to come with bells and whistles, such as timers, automatic stop and other programmable settingsDISADVANTAGES OF STAND MIXERS:Cleaning the various parts can be cumbersomeStand mixers are significantly more expensive than hand mixersThey are heavy and large and take up a big chunk of kitchen 'real estate'MIXING BY HAND: Before mixers, people would beat things by hand. If you don't own a mixer, you can technically perform any of the jobs they do by hand.WHEN IT'S BEST TO MIX BY HANDIf a recipe calls for eggs 'lightly beaten' - simply do this using a forkIf a recipe calls to 'fold in' - it's often best to do this by handMixing over heat - for instance when you're melting chocolate and you have to stir frequentlyI personally purchased this particular hand mixer so that I could mix homemade skin care and beauty products. I own other mixers, but I use them for food prep. Although some of the stuff I make is food grade, I didn't want to share my kitchen mixer with my beauty products. If you've never owned a mixer before, it's best to start with a simple hand mixer such as this one. On the other hand, if you own a stand mixer, you would also greatly benefit from using this hand held mixer. So, to sum it up, you should really buy this hand mixer.
