Update:Their customer service department emailed me after seeing my first review and sent out a free replacement which was delivered very quickly. The replacement unit works perfectly and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the product and the service.Former review:Why is this advertised as having two USB-C ports with power delivery? The printed materials in the package state they do not support power delivery. And after testing them, I can confirm they don’t charge anything at all. They are completely useless and it’s left me scratching my head why they would include two USB-C ports that can’t charge anything. What’s the point of having them at all if they’re inoperable?

Having a surge protector is an absolute MUST! This particular one caught my eye due to the versatility of different charging ports. My current one was the simple, standard bar that was extremely limited in space. My office is already limited when it comes to plugs and for my desk area, I have quite a few items plugged into my surge protector. Laptop, lamp, Alexa, along with phone and Kindle chargers. And when we moved our daughter's desk in, I suddenly also had her Chromebook to deal with. I needed more charging options!! This Power Strip Tower is exactly what I needed! While I'll never use all the ports at once (lol our electrical plug couldn't handle that), it provides more than enough space for everything I need plugged in without the hassle of having to unplug and switch things out. It gives me different options to accommodate everything and the ease of mind knowing everything is protected with a surge protector. My husband plans to switch out all our current surge protectors for this Tower Charger/Surge Protector. The tower design is something I personally like, it's much easier to fit into my limited space than a bar, I like the look of it much more, it's easier to deal with overall. Definitely my favorite.

I don’t usually do reviews, but his thing is actually great just like first one. I own what I assumed was the first gen of this tower and been using it for more than 2 years I believe. I use it to connect everything on my entertainment TV stand where my PS4 among other things reside, so I need a lot of plugs. I have included a photo of the first generation (the one with the skull).The second gen (the one this review is for) does everything the first one does, but it does it better since it includes two usb type c ports that make it easer to charge my phone and tablet faster. I like that they kept the same design on both since it is really convenient to have the ON/OFF button accessible at the top. I might not be taking full advantage of newer one since I have it my night stand since I’m using all the ports right now, this will change once I put my desk right next to it.The bottom line is I did this review because I own two of these and I think they work great. I would definitely recommend them and this is the reason I took time to make this review.

I ordered this to use in my kitchen to expand one of the most used outlets. In fact, the electrician had to trim the cover plate when they installed it, which made some of the larger three prong plugs not useable. I was using a surge protector to expand the number of plugs and allow room for three prong big plugs. The surge protector created too much unnecessary clutter and wires and strangely not enough outlets. To fix the problem, I invested in this tower and it has curt down on the clutter significantly. Even with all of the outlets now available, its USB inputs alone bypass some of plugs and wires. It was easy to hide this tower behind my knife set and it created a much cleaner counter top.

Really like it, but I’ve ordered two and the USB C ports do not work, or do not work as expected. Not looking forward to dealing with another return.Good product, but I guess they have quality control issues?

I love this power tower. It has plenty of power ports (12) for plugging in all your electronics. It has the perfect amount of space inbetween each port so you can plug in those big power boxes. And it has 6 USB ports for charging phones or using them with anything that is powered by usb. They are fast charging as well. I love that this has a convenient button on the top to turn it off or on. Be careful though when doing anything near the power button as if can be pressed easily. I currently have this powering an Xbox one X, a 50” Samsung TV, a sound bar,a camera, Xbox headset charger & controller battery charger. It works perfectly no issues giving power or getting hot. This will soon be powering a PlayStation and a Xbox. Highly recommend

After moving into my new apartment, I quickly realized that there weren't enough power outlets to use all my electronics in my bedroom. After going on Amazon, I was hoping to find a power strip that had regular USB ports, as well as USB, and was powerful enough to feed all my devices. Eventually I stumbled upon the power tower, which instantly caught my attention as the design is beautiful. I installed the unit in my room and so far everyone has asked what it was - one of my friends even confused it for the trashcan mac pro that Apple released a few years ago.Overall, zero complaints - it works well and has abundant power supply for man devices. I've had Aukey products before, so I know this power strip will last.

The items appears well made at first glance but I'm experiencing an issue where the light ring up top no longer turns on when the item is switched on. If you hold the power button you can see it try to turn on, fades, and then turns back off. Its annoying not knowing whether this item is on or off without the light. It doesn't speak well about this product since I've only owned it for less than 4 months.
