Reliable gyre pump, in use 15 months. Love it!
I bought this Jebao SCP-70 back in Sep 2023 for a 29 gallon mixed LPS and SPS reef tank. I use it on the wave mode running on the lowest flow setting. The SPS corals have grown beautifully and the torch and frogspawn like the flow. About every 3 months I swap it out for another SCP-70 so I can give it a good citric acid soak and then have it on hand as a spare.The pump has a quiet rhythmic sound in wave mode. My wife claims it sounds like a quiet heart rate monitor. When on the constant flow mode neither of us can hear it.

Good startup Gyre but noisy
It gives my 32G tank a great flow and I'm at the lowest setting. I just wish they had a slower speed than their slowest one in a gyre. There is a whining noise which is disturbing sometimes.

SCP-70 Is Trash
Bought (2) of the SCP-120 model. They are well built, solid and create STRONG flow. Too strong in my 220. Even just running 1. So I decided to get these......BIG MISTAKE! It's like they're made by a different company. Cheap, flimsy and faulty. Only 1 of the 2 actually worked. The faulty unit repeats an error code the translates to me having it connected incorrectly. THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY TO CONNECT IT. RETURNING BOTH before the other begins to fail.

Great! Too strong, even. Slightly noisy.
Using this in a NUVO IM30 long, 36x12x15On the lowest setting, it’s quite a bit too strong for my 30 gallon.I have it set up for the sine waves setting and you can hear a small hum when it sends power to the gyre to start up every few seconds.During the day I barely notice it, but my skimmer drowns it out during the nighttime.No problems so far. I wish my tank was bigger so I can take full advantage of this! Would recommend.

Had the previous type
I like how compact it is fits perfectly in my 33 gallon long. Now the bad it is very noisy, vibrates and the feed mod changed to slow instead of going completely off. I will just put my old one jebao back in that is at least 10 years old I though this one would be an upgrade.
