Flags Forever Custom Handmade Wooden American Flag (Rustic)

The flag is made out of solid wood and the craftsmanship is remarkable. I have it sitting on a book shelf as it is heavy and I didn't want it to fall off the wall hook. It looks great on the bookshelf next to my red, white and blue candles! I appreciate that the flag came from an American company as well!

This company is truly awesome! My husband has been looking for a patriotic sign to replace the one that has weathered on our lanai. He wanted the same one that has "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" written on it. It's a sign I bought for him when we first moved to the Tampa bay area about 16 years ago. I couldn't find the same one either, but I did see a couple that I liked from Flags Forever here on Amazon. Every single review was 5 stars, and I read that they were made of wood pine. I was sold! It was priced at $59.99 and measured at 18" x 9.75". It was shipped right away, and packaged very well. I got it within 2 days.I was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship almost immediately as I removed it from the box. It has a nice weight to it, and smells like pine (because it is real pine). I almost hate to put it outside on the covered lanai because it smells so good. But, that's where hubby wants it so he can see it from the pool.Anyway, it can be hung indoor or outdoors. It can even stand on a shelf. It's already pre-treated with 3 separate coats of Minwax Water Based Helmsman per the website. They just recommend that you spray another coat on it yearly if it's exposed to the elements. So taking care of it seems simple enough. There's nothing that will rust on this sign because it's solid wood. It looks like it's going to last a long time.I highly recommend Flags Forever if you're looking for a good quality handmade wooden flag or sign. They have military and first responder wooden signage too. It looks like they will do custom orders as well. Oh, and did I mention it's made here in Florida? I may be purchasing more items in the near future. It was a great purchase!

Wonderful piece on my wall. I get tons of compliments. Also love that it's local to Florida! I would feel very silly buying an American flag that was made in a foreign country. I would definitely recommend.
