These lights have changed the game for my acting self tapes! I used to be incredibly washed out with my past two lighting kits. I bought these bulbs to put into the lighting kit I already have any the fact that I can change how warm or cool the lights are and how bright they are have actually made me look like a natural human being. They are the best purchase I have made on Amazon in a long time. Love them and highly recommend them!

This light is perfect for soft boxes. I use mines on the warm setting at 100% in one of my softboxes, and it add just the right amount of warmth to pictures and videos in conjunction with a regular soft box. I love that I can buy an attachment for it to just be used on a tripod buy itself. I will be purchasing another soon.

This bulb is legit.Pros:1.Color spectrum goes from deep cool to deep warm2. Can change brightness level3. Comes with a remote that automatically paired with the two bulbs I bought separately. No apps or anything. Awesome4. Transitions in color and brightness is very my gradual and smooth5. Feels sturdy6. Normal threading and size socketCons1. Not EXTREMELY bright. I’d prefer them to be 25% brighter.(I have two light stands and use them for product shots) with two it’s a nice amount of light but I was hoping to sometimes use one light but one is not quite enough light for me personally.2. Every time you buy a bulb it comes with a remote so you can end up with a pile of remotes. (Serious waste) Maybe there’s a version that comes without one.

This Softbox bulb was a good deal and as advertised. Happy with purchase. Of course, doesn't have to go in a softbox - it has a standard socket. Really like the adjustable brightness as well as color. I checked the color temps and they are right on. By the way, there are some great light color/lux apps for iPad and iPhone. A lot less money than a stand alone device.

I liked this bulb for the first several months that I used it. I installed it in a drafting lamp that was clamped to my desk so that I could manipulate the lamp around easily to take pictures of my artwork. It has lasted several months and is still going strong, doesn't get too hot, and doesn't buzz or flicker. As a 5600k light bulb, it checked all the boxes. I purchased the bulb more for the color temperature of the light (5600k or 5700k) and I didn't really need to be able to swap between the three temperature settings (Warm, White, Cold.) The remote does have this feature of being able to press 3 buttons to change the strength of the light between 20%, 50%, and 100%. I wasn't expecting that feature to be useful, but it was a "nice to have," though I usually use it on full brightness anyway.I was already wary of these cheap no-name bulbs as I've gone through many led bulbs throughout the years and tend to be particular about the bulbs that I purchase. The addition of the remote control, however, just added more to the complexity of the bulb which naturally increases the likelihood that it will malfunction. Sure enough, the remote stopped working after several months and I'm left with a regular bulb. I would have been ok with this, but now without the remote, I have to cycle my lamp by turning it on, then off, and then back on again because it defaults to soft white when you first turn it on. It got pretty annoying so I replaced the bulb with a no-frills straight-up 5600k bulb and haven't looked back.In my opinion, the price is too high for a product of such poor quality. Personally, I would recommend against getting this bulb.

I used this as a key light with further diffusion and it is bright enough for my purposes, unfortunately it seems to have wide color shifts that made skin tones vary over the course of shooting. I used only on the “white” setting at 100 brightness, but the same subject would appear red the next time I shot it, without touching or moving anything. Letting it warm up for a while did nothing. It’s a shame because it casts a nice strong diffuse light that, with some modifications looks pleasing, but it just couldn’t replicate the same look each time the way I needed. Going to try a brand with higher CRI.

I use these bulbs professionally in both photography and video production. They work reliably all the time. The ability to adjust brightness and color temperature on the fly with the wireless remote is invaluable if you're vlogging and can't keep getting up to adjust the lights. They weigh almost nothing, making them extremely portable as well.

I've been on the hunt for some warm lights that are compatible with my Mount Dog lighting kit and these bulbs are it! There are a few light settings, from cool to warm, controlled by a remote controller (the controller needs 2 AAA batteries FYI). Great purchase!
