Great light. Three settings. Perfect when you need light in a tight space, or just want to light up an area. Perfect for power failures. The handle also acts as a stand so you can angle to light where you need it.

At first, I couldn't decide between this product (DCL077B) and the big dome looking unit with bluetooth (DCL074). As much as I tend to lean on the side of overkill, bigger isn't always better. For me, the big selling point on the DCL077B was the fact it takes both the 12V and 20V Dewalt batteries. To my knowledge, this is the only Dewalt light that accepts their 12v batteries. Since I love the smaller and lighter 12v Dewalt tools for some applications, I decided to give this a try.Now, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was tempted to throw this light back in the box and send it back because it just wasn't the kickass DCL074. However, I quickly discovered that I could attach a 25lb magnet to it using a 1/4"-20 bolt on the tripod mount. Major game changer as I can easily attach it to the hood of my car as well as many other metal objects in my garage. Is this thing as bright as the DCL074? No but it is definitely bright enough for my needs. It might not illuminate an entire room but it will illuminate whatever project I am working on. Given the light weight and versatility of being able to hang it with a magnet, I find that I am using this product much more than I originally anticipated. Sometimes, I even forget to turn it off. No worries. With the long battery life and the ability to easily swap out and recharge the batteries, this is my go to work light. Love it!

Dewalt is no doubt the best tools I have used, so I knew this LED work light would be great as well. This work light is very light weight and easy to carry. It's smaller size makes it easy to store also. It can use either the 12v or 20v Dewalt batteries. It has a nice adjustable stand built in, or it can be mounted on a tripod. It is really bright and makes any job in the dark easier.

I bought two of these - the second one mistakenly. So what the hell am I gonna do with 2 of these things, I asked myself. The batteries are not cheap enough that I need to run two of them at once. Then I built an outdoor privy out in the woods, away from our house electric. It proved to be very useful as a light source for the privy. The other one, I mount on a tripod when I need it to work on something.
