In the wood turning and metal spinning classes I have been teaching at the Techshops I have concentrated on the safety and basic use of the lathe and tools. I had seen that professional metal spinners use Anti-fatigue Mats. When I stand in front of the Techshop's Powermatic lathes for 6 or 7 hour teaching wood turning and/or metal spinning, I am completely exhausted. My feet hurt and I can hardly clean-up and drive home after teaching two classes. I have taken two steps to solve this problem. I am only going to schedule teaching one class a day at the Techshop and second I have purchased an Anti-fatigue Mat like the one shown below. This mat fits our lathe perfectly. Everybody likes this mat. I will never work without anymore.

Just opened the box and put it where it will get used. No bumps or creases, Made solidly and out of what appears to be quality materials and workmanship. Time will tell how it wears, but I'm happy.

Would perhaps like an even wider and longer one. Could not find one comparable to your value and quality unless purchasing 2 or 3 and placing them side by side

I bought this as a donation to a church mission. The pharmacy team works 13-14 hour days on cement floors. It's miserable. This REALLY helped. We've only used it on one trip so far, so I can't comment on the durability. The thickness of the mat was perfect. It was easy to clean after the week, too. It didn't budge the week we were there, and there is a slip-resistant texture on the top, too, to protect us. Very reasonable price as well. Very happy with this purchase.
