Muzzys Skip Shift Eliminator FITS 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V CAGS Bypass Kit

The item I received, due to a warehouse mistake apparently, was not like the one pictured, but was well made and will probably work with someone else's vehicle. Having researched the weatherpack connectors appropriate for the 2004-2007 CTS-Vs, the one pictured has the correct connectors and also looks like a sell designed solution. After some difficulty, the seller, Muzzy, got in touch with me and was very professional and helpful. Moral of the story, if you have a problem with a "Fulfilled by Amazon" item, get customer service to get you in touch with the seller--if they're as nice as Muzzy, you'll be glad you did.

My 2004 CTSV had a Muzzy skip shift on it but the guys installing my headers forgot to re zip tie it back on the tranny it ended up touching the hot pipes and milting it. I’m so glad you still have this part in stock. I installed it rest the code and no more check engine light. I am back ramming gears.

This product easily connects to the wiring harness that controls the skip shift feature (CAGS/Computer aided gear selection) on gen 1 CTSV's with a T56 transmission. This is installed on the drivers side between the skip shift solenoid on the exterior of the transmission and the wiring harness. AFter a 2 minute install, you will never be forced to attempt a 1st to 4th upshift again.CAGS eliminated and no check engine light.Thank youSome may benefit from an instruction sheet.

Just installed this on my 2005 CTS-V. It eliminates the 1-4 skip shift like it says it does. Feels cheaply made so not sure about the long term durability of it. Before installation, a little "R" would illuminate on the dash when the transmission was shifted to Reverse. After installation that no longer happens. Not a huge deal but seeing the R was a nice convenient feature to know you found reverse and not 6th. Can't beat this price and ease of installation.

Works exactly as described for my 05 V, and I've had it since November 2015, with no CEL or any other codes. Makes the car much more enjoyable while driving on the streets, and literally took longer to jack up the car than to install this. Anybody who knows how to jack up a car could almost certainly install this by themselves. I am not even very knowledgeable about car parts, and this was a piece of cake to install.

Easy to install. I like the fact that it has both plugs, so I'm not leaving the receptacle on the solenoid open to get dirty while I'm driving. Does exactly what it's supposed to.
