Not clean plastic welding at seams but functional
Unlike other dust collection fitting from Powertec, this splitter/fitting has obvious plastic welding at the seams with blobs of plastic sticking out inside. I did not see this in my other Powertec fittings - I have several, but this one does have the most complicated shape. One reviewer commented that the fitting arrived with cracked at the seam, so little concerning. Nevertheless, I installed it and appear to be working well. I will update for a more long term review.

Works !!
This was needed to connect my CNC to my wen dust extractor, had a 2 inch hose up to a 4 inch opening which has to connect to another 4 inch inlet on dust collector, both have 4” OD, and as you can see from pic, it worked perfectly.The thumb screws are a bonus, makes installing it a breeze.So if you’re looking for something to connect 2-4” hoses together, this is what you need .Arrived exactly when it said.Power tech is actually a decent company. Haven’t had to work with their customer service, so I cannot speak to that but their products are decent.

I chose these because of durability not realizing that the doors were so hard to open and so hard to close I would have sent them back and bought the plastic but I decided to keep them I give them three stars because the doors are so hard to operate.
