Great camera!
Yeah I know its Aug 2017 but after much research I still decided to buy it, this bundle is great, I didn't get the one with the extra lens because I wasn't sure if I rather buy a longer depth of field lens or a smaller one (I think I prefer something for f1.8 next). In this bundle the most important things are the extra two batteries and the charger station that can charge 2 batteries at once, and of course the 2 64 gig memory cards. My bundle like some of the others reviewers here didn't come with the 3 color filters but I'm okay with that. The programs it comes with are cool, I downloaded Corel Paintshop Pro X9 no problem and its a great photo management and editing tool (rivals photoshop in many ways) and its great because it clearly tells you the camera settings you had on while you took the shot. Helps you practice for sure, given that this is a beginners camera. I never owned a DSLR/Mirrorless camera before, just did lots of food photography with my iPhone 7. But this is super easy to use and you'll be set in no time with a few youtube tutorials. I also love it because its super light, I considered the a6300 as well but since its my first dab in high end cameras I didn't think the +$500 price increase was worth it.

A really nice, sharp picture; light weight; lots of flexibility.
Girlfriend wanted a camera that was lighter than a DSLR, but just as good. This fits.It takes a really nice, crisp, well (but not over) saturated image and is very easy to use, esp. in Auto mode.I took one star off "Easy to use" because zooming in and out when reviewing the image on the back is clunky. Most other cameras use either two buttons on the back (zoom in / zoom out), or use the same mechanism as for taking the pic. This uses one button to get into the Zoom mode, and a knob to move in or out. Ugh.I should probably take a second star off because selecting different modes (e.g., shutter prio/ aperture prio/...) requires selecting and working on several menus, not just switching a knob. Can be a little tedious to find what you need. On the other hand there is a LOT of flexibility in what you can do, so plus a star for that.In short, great choice we're glad we made.

ALPHA GIRL FOR LIFE
I’ve been using this Sony alpha 6000 for almost two years and it never disappoints. It’s an easy point and shoot I use for my business for video and photos. The quality is always amazing and it’s easy to store. This kit had sooooo much stuff in it, I think it’s best to order on here than just get the camera somewhere else.Update 2020:I’m an alpha woman, Sony allows me to send directly to my phone through their imagine edge mobile app, and once you know the settings it’s amazing. Although I take a lot of photos as an influencer I use this camera A LOT for videos, the only downside is uploading I find I have to do it on premiere. Still recommend this for those on a budget and not ready to commit to the A7. Wish this had the flip back screen so you could see yourself but if you set it up on a tripod you’ll be fine.

Great Bundle!
So I've been wanting to get this camera for a while now, and I was waiting for the bundle price to come down a little. I payed $498 for everything, and I am pretty satisfied with the items. The camera is great, came with a battery, a neck strap and a cable for charging. The other 2 batteries came with its own charger and seem to be working just fine. I haven't used the other items that came in the bundle but they all seem useful. The 2 SD cards were good, and the bag has good quality. Great value! Totally recommend it.

Great camera for beginners
I was sick of taking pictures with my phone and decided it was time to upgrade to my first real camera. After looking at reviews and videos for weeks I decided on the sony a6000. Once I received it in the mail I was blown away by the pictures I was able to take. It is so easy to use once you get the hang of it and there are plenty of tutorial videos out there for it. It really is a great camera for beginners like me and the pictures it takes are great. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone who asks.

Iconic day to day camera ; limited affordable lenses.
This is a very capable everyday street, travel camera. Relatively compact with kit lens which for everyday FB type photos is pretty acceptable and covers a practical f range. Because I have some experience with various mirrorless cameras' programmed menus I am gradually picking up how to access the tools I need to refine my images. It's a manageable camera. I did purchase the highly recommended Sony 35 MM 1.8..lens and am considering getting the longer std f/3.5 - 5.6 zoom. Thats as much of an investment I am willing to make now in that system. But the reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the relatively limited number of non-competitively priced useful native Sony lenses. I have a number of useful Canon FF and Crop lenses most of which are sizeable for the Sony 6000 but to use these Canon lenses I will have to spend several hundred dollars for a useful lens adapter which adds further in weight and dimensions to the final form factor of my equipment. This sony 6000 camera purchase was probably foolish given the restrictive lens issues and options mentioned earlier, but it is a very good camera for the used price I paid for it; to me it is an iconic ground breaking camera. I am leaning more and more on portable mirrorless crop and 4/3rds cameras (Olympus, Panasonic, Fuji and now Sony).much less on my Canon and Nikon SLR systems and lenses. I.am holding on to SLR lenses in case I can use them with emerging Canon.and Nikon mirrorless cameras. I think for me compact, mirrorless systems is the way to go.
